ich hoffe ihr könnt mir helfen. Mein MacBook Pro 13 Zoll (gekauft Januar 2016) ist extrem langsam geworden. Kann ich den noch retten ?

Es bringt echt keinen Spaß mehr :-( Und zu "Gates" will ich nicht mehr wechseln...no Chance!

Du kannst den Etre Check hier als Code über die Schaltfläche Einfügen und </> Code einfügen.
 
Und Du wirst den Bericht aufteilen müssen.
Vorneweg kann ich schon eins sagen: Wenn Du Antivirensoftware installiert hast, dann deinstalliere sie nach Herstellervorgabe. Nicht einfach in den Mülleimer legen! Antivirensoftware ist nutzlos, schädlich und verlangsamt deinen Rechner.

Ok.

Da kann das SATA Kabel defekt sein. Das ist sehr typisch für das 2012er Modell. Es wurde bis 2016 verkauft obwohl es mehrere Nachfolger gab. Bei den Nachfolgern gibt es dieses SATA Kabel nicht!

Die HDD könnte auch defekt sein. Da sie erst 4 Jahre alt ist ist das eher unwahrscheinlich.

Ich tippe hier eher auf ein Softwareproblem (zu viele automatisch startende Programme oder 1-2 starke Hintergrund-Ressourcenfresser)
 
Ich würde auch den Akku mal testen, ob der nicht bereits im Sterben liegt, entweder mit coconut battery oder per Terminal Befehl

EltreCheck: Auf den ersten Blick fallen mir da SmartSwitch von Samsung und CleanMyMac auf.

Ersteres ist ein bekannter Ressourcenfresser. Da du noch eine alte 5400er HDD hast, wird sich das sehr negativ auf die Performance auswirken.
CleanMyMac gehört zu den verschlimmbesserungstools, da du nie weißt, was genau wirklich gelöscht/geändert wird. In der Regel machen solche Tools mehr kaputt als besser - insbesondere wenn man sich als Anwender nicht bestens auskennt.

Mein Tipp: Bau dir für kleines Geld (unter 100€) eine SSD in dein MacBook ein. Der Geschwindikgeitszuwachs hier ist enorm. Falls du dir das selber nichts zutraust, findest du in deiner Nähe sicher eine Werkstatt, die das für dich macht.

Sichere vor dem Umbau deine wichtigsten Daten und mach dann einen CleanInstall (also eine komplette Neuinstallation). Du wirst erstaunt sein, wie viel schneller dein Mac dann ist.

Um festzustellen, welche Programme viel Rechenzeit / Arbeitsspeicher kosten, kannst du auch das systeminterne Mac-Tool "Aktivitätsanzeige" benutzen. Du kannst dort mit einem Klick auf die Überschrift auf/absteigend sortieren. Schau dir hier die Kategorien CPU, Speicher und Festplatte an.

Was @hr47 schreibt. Und ich würde auch über eine Speichererweiterung auf 8GB RAM nachdenken. Aber zuerst die SSD und den Clean Install. Dann KEINE Helferlein mehr installieren. Da habe ich noch andere Sachen gefunden, wie:

In diesem Kontext noch ein kleiner Zusatz-Hinweis: Wenn dein 2012er MacBook Pro die Non-Retina Variante ist (kannst du über Apfel/Über meinen Mac nachschauen), handelt es sich um das MacBook mit der laut iFixit besten Reparierbarkeit (sprich Aufrüstbarkeit) aller MacBooks (iFixit Index 7 von 10).
Insbesondere Arbeitsspeicher und Festplatte sind hier sehr einfach zu tauschen. Du musst nur die Rückseite des macBooks abschrauben und kannst dann schon direkt auf beides zugreifen. Wie schwierig das mit dem HDD-Kabel ist, weiß ich nicht. Vielleicht weiß hier @ekki161 mehr.

Werde jetzt mal durchprobieren, was ihr vorgeschlagen habt.

Ich versuche es zumindest, hab in dieser Hinsicht eigentlich zwei linke Hände.
