Mac OS X Mavericks Mac stürzt unvermittelt ab

Guten Tag,
mein Mac Book Air Version Mavericks 10.9.5 (4GB RAM) stürzt in letzter Zeit oft unvermittelt ab oder in seltenen Fällen bekomme ich auch die Meldung, das der 'Computer aufgrund eines Problems neu gestartet wurde' mit Bericht. Was mir aufgefallen ist: Nach dem Start habe ich viel zu wenig RAM-Speicher zur Verfügung, ich kann den Platz aber durch das Programm Clean My Mac jeweils freigeben, so dass ich wieder auf 2 GB freien Speicher komme. Ich meine, das Problem mit dem Absturz trat dann trotzdem auf, das beobachte ich erstmal weiter. Dennoch: Welche Programme kann ich in der Aktivitätsanzeige canceln (dauerhaft?), ohne das mir wichtige (System-)Dateien verloren gehen. Ich hänge mal einen Screenshot an:
Bin für jeden Tipp dankbar, da ich unbedingt zuverlässigen Rechner benötige. Möglicherweise ist er auch einfach 'alt' und diese Probleme tauchen nach >7 Jahren regelmäßig auf?

Ich finde mehrere System- und Benutzer-Diagnoseberichte. Welche sind interessant?
 
Ja, /Library/Logs oder DiagnosticReports
Mit der Konsole.app suchen.

Mac Book Air Mitte 2013, Version 10.9.5. Ich frage mich ja, ob sich die 4GB nicht sowieso längst "überholt" haben und ich mir etwas neues anschaffe, bevor ich den ganzen Aufwand betreibe.

beides, AVIRA macht bei 99,9% der Apple User Probleme, auf kurz oder lang.

Ich habe das OS X neu installiert, leider stand mir nur die alte Version zur Verfügung. Festplattendaten habe ich nicht gelöscht, aber das Volume geprüft. Clean My Mac habe ich bisher noch drauf. Nach erneuten Abstürzen sagt der Report jetzt das hier:

Ist ja der gleiche Fehler und da du das System nur drüber installiert hast, also alle eventuellen Softwarefehler übernommen hast, brachte dich das keinen Schritt weiter.
Hast du schon mal einen Hardwaretest durchlaufen lassen?
Sind externe Geräte angeschlossen?

Ich habe diesen Apple Test gemacht beim Neustart: "Es wurde keine Seriennr. entdeckt. Der Computer muss gewartet werden. NNN001" Meinste den. Sorry, ich hatte zuvor nicht ein Problem mit dem Mac, was ja sehr positiv ist, kenne mich dementsprechend aber auch nicht aus;-). Also nochmal installieren und vorher Festplatte löschen? *Merci*
 
Das Air6,2 kann doch sogar Big Sur.
Lad doch mal was aktuelleres, zumindest High Sierra, damit du auch eine neuere Firmware hast, wo mehr Möglichkeiten zum Version auswählen sind.
