Mac mini und imac - Festplatte rattert immer wieder

Hallo, habe auf beiden Rechnern (mini 2015 / iMac 2014) Sierra neuestes Update. iMac mit 16GB Speicher, mini 8 GB, FP je 1TB - 50% frei. Bei beiden Geräten läuft immer wieder mal die FP und bremst das Arbeiten völlig aus. Eine besondere Belastung wird in der Aktivitätsanzeige nicht aufgeführt. Beim iMac wird zudem nach Neustart jedes Mal indiziert, was an die 30 Min dauert und ebenfalls einschränkt.

Woran kann das liegen? iCloud Datenspeicherung? Indizieren wird zumindest während des lfd. Betriebs nicht angezeigt. Aber irgendetwas läuft da immer mal wieder.

Habe ein McBook Air mit SSD - läuft hervorragend bei fast identischer Softwareausstattung und Daten.

Wenn die HDD angeschlossen ist und du bspw. Spotlight benutzt, oder etwas abspeicherst, dann wird auch die HDD angesprochen und rattert entsprechend. :)

Warum der iMac wirklich neu indiziert, kann ich dir aber nicht sagen.
 
danke, aber so extrem, dass sich das Rädchen selbst bei kleineren Dateien länger dreht, man warten muss, bis das Speichern einer Datei möglich ist, das hatte ich früher nie. Das rattert schlicht zu oft, fast dauernd.

Auch dass der iMac nach jedem Start ca. 30-60 Min. indiziert (habe Spotlight deaktiviert und wieder aktiviert, hat nichts gebracht) ist nicht normal. Da ist irgendwo der Wurm drin, aber als Laie habe ich keinen Ansatzpunkt...

Normalerweise ist der Satz ja @Impcaligula vorbehalten. Aber ich übernehme mal die Vertretung:

Du hast eindeutig irgendwelche Antivirussoftware geladen. ESET Cyber Security Pro.
Tja und ab hier braucht man gar nicht mehr weiter lesen.

Deinstalliere das mal bitte. Vermutlich wird dein Antivirus versuchen irgendwas zu indizieren und beim Systemstart deine Festplatte scannen, um irgendwelche Viren zu suchen.

Unabhängig davon: Backup ist nicht schlecht. ;)

aha, danke! Warum wirkt sich das dann aber nur bei iMac und mac mini aus, aber nicht beim McBook Air?
 
Vielleicht weil im Air ein SSD installiert ist. Die macht das zwar auch dauert aber nur einen Bruchteil von normalen Festplatten. Ich habe uebrigends Bitdefender als Antiviren SW und habe keine Probleme bis jetzt.
Normalerweise sollte Antiviren SW nur dann richtig arbeiten wenn du nix tust.
 
ja, so sollte es sein. Aber jetzt habe ich dieselbe Situation: Eset ist runter, neu gestartet und trotzdem rattert die FP, obwohl ich praktisch nichts mache
 
Ich geb @asterixxER recht, es liegt wohl an der SSD, dass die deutlich schneller ist.

Ich habe uebrigends Bitdefender als Antiviren SW und habe keine Probleme bis jetzt.

Virenscanner wie Malwarebytes/ClamXav sind okay, die sind passiv. Allerdings ist solche Antivirensoftware mehr als fragwürdig, die sich selbst als Man-In-The-Middle einsetzt und sogar SSL Verbindungen kompromittiert definitiv nicht empfehlenswert und machen deutlich mehr kaputt, als man damit retten könnte. Damit installiert man sich die Probleme direkt auf den Rechner und macht ein vorher sicheres System mit funktionierendem SSL bestmöglich kaputt.

Wenn man damit erstmal keine Probleme hat, gut.
Das heißt aber nicht, dass es nicht in Zukunft ordentliche Probleme geben kann. Insbesondere welche wo man nichts von mitbekommt, da SSL und alle Türen geöffnet wurden, dank Adminrechte der Software.

Selten sieht man so aufgeräumte etrecheck logs.

Danke für die bisherige Unterstützung.

Was bleibt - und heute morgen wieder: am iMac läuft jedes Mal nach dem Start (muss abends aus machen, da im Büro) die Indizierung - 40 Minuten und manchmal länger. Arbeiten ist dann kaum möglich. Führt oft dazu, dass ich den Finder 3-4 Mal neu starten muss. Auch sind die tiefer unter Dokumente liegenden Ordner manchmal die erste halbe Stunde nicht angezeigt, aufrufbar. Liegt das an iCloud? Dokumente sollte aber alles auch lokal haben. Bin langsam von Apple genervt und denke daran, zurück auf Windows zu gehen, die scheinen sich die letzten Jahre am Apfel vorbei entwickelt zu haben
