Mac mini - Dateizugriffe langsam

Hallo zusammen,

mein Mac mini ist plötzlich extrem langsam, wenn ich auf Dateien oder Laufwerke zugreife. Es erscheint der Ball, in der Programmliste steht "Finder (reagiert nicht)" und dann macht er was er soll. Doch nicht immer: Gerade mit LibreOffice einen Text erstellt - war nicht zu speichern (erst der Ball, dann Ruhe). Das Festplattendienstprogramm versucht die Festplatten zu laden. Seit fünf Minuten. Irgendetwas scheint mir faul zu sein.

Nutze einen Mac mini (Ende 2014) mit macOS Catalina 10.15.2. Habe gestern Updates durchgeführt (Firefox, Capture One) und MagentaCloud entfernt.

Hat jemand eine Idee?

Hinweis: Ich verwende zwei Benutzer - einen als Administrator, einen als Benutzer. Der Report ist vom Administrator.

In der Zwischenzeit ist merkwürdiges passiert: Der erste Lauf von EtreCheck zeigte ein schwerwiegendes Problem mit der Festplatte an. Danach habe ich den Rechner neu gestartet und mit der Taste D die Apple Diagnostic. Die brachte keinen Fehler. Danach funktionierte das Festplatten-Dienstprogramm plötzlich und die Erste-Hilfe brachte keinen Fehler. Jetzt läuft erst einmal alles - kein Sportwagen, doch wie gewohnt. Vermutlich sollte ich regelmäßige Datensicherungen einplanen.

Vielleicht gab es zu Weihnachten bei Dir einen Mediamarkt Gutschein geschenkt.
Eine interne SSD für Deinen MM wäre auf jeden Fall eine gute Investition, der 2014 läßt das so viel ich weiß problemlos zu.

Hätte jetzt auf die Platte oder das SATA-Kabel getippt. 1TB-SSDs bekommt man teilweise schon für 100€.

APFS auf einer alten mechanische Platte. Ein Austausch gegen eine SSD bewirkt da Wunder. Und das System mal aufräumen bei der Gelegenheit.
