Lion lässt sich nicht auf neuer Festplatte installieren

Folgendes problem lässt mich noch verzweifln:

Bei meinem Dad seinem iMac (20Zoll, Core2Duo, von 2008) war die Festplatte defekt. Haben diese bei Gravis austauschen lassen. MacOS Lion wollte ich selbst installieren, was aber absolut nicht geht.

Dazu habe ich auf meinem iMac ein USB und eine DVD zum Booten mit Lion erstellt nach den Anleitungen wie man sie tausendfach im Internet findet (z.B. http://apfeltech.net/2011/07/anleitung-mac-os-x-lion-per-dvd-oder-usb-stick-installieren/)

Hier kommt aber kurz nachdem die Installation gestartet ist ein Fehler. Habe das ganze mehrfach probiert, egal ob von DVD oder von USB immer kommt der Fehler. Habe die Festplatte formatiert oder auch die Partion nochmal gelöscht. Im prinzip alles ausprobiert.

Das mitgelieferte MacOS 10.5.8 hingegen lässt sich problemlos installieren.

Hat jemand einen Tip hierfür? Bin so langsam mit meinem Latein am Ende.
 
Hast du denn auch HFS+ und GUID eingestellt?

Und welcher "Fehler" kommt beim Installieren immer wieder?
Präzise Angaben helfen meist.
 
Ja, habe HFS+ und GUID ausgewählt.

das log file hilft nicht so ganz, welchen fehler meldet denn der installer?
platte ist auch leer? weil über 10.5 kannst du lion nicht installieren...

Das was ich aus der Log rauslese ist, dass du mit deine, Installationsmedium irgendwie was falsch gemacht hast.

Der Rechner haut ja nur Fehler raus.

Welche Version von Lion hast du auf dem Stick, und woher stammt die?
 
Ich hab Lion nochmal mit meinem iMac aus dem AppStore runtergeladen und dann aus dem Instllationsordner die InstallESD.dmg Datei rauskopiert und den USB Stick bzw. die DVD so wie in der Anleitung (siehe Link oben) erstellt. Das ganze habe ich sicher 10 mal probiert, immer kommt die Fehlermedlung Lion kann nicht intstalliert werden. Würde davon gerne eine Screenshot machen, aber das geht während der Installation leider nicht.

Ja, die Festplatte ist komplett leer.
