Hi!
Zwecks Platzprobleme (Leopard+Win bereits installiert) will ich mir Linux/Ubuntu auf die externe USB Festplattes(/dev/sdb) draufspielen. Dabei bin nach dieser Anleitung bis inklusive Punkt 5 vorgegangen. Danach habe ich noch rEFIt installiert und neu gestartet:
Danach habe ich einen Neustart gemacht. Ich seh jetzt zwar in rEFIt denn Pinguin mit der USB Platte doch es kommt folgende Fehlermeldung:

The Firmware refused to boot from the selected volume. Note that external hard drives are not well-supported by Apple´s firmware for legacy OS booting.
