Hi. Vielleicht kann jemand was mit der folgenden Kernel Panic anfangen. Passiert bei meinem neuen MBA M1, wenn es längere Zeit, z.B. über Nacht, via USB-C an einem DELL Monitor hängt:

Das Log ist nach jeder Panic übrigens gleich. Ich tippe ja mal darauf, dass es mit dem Monitor zusammenhängt.
 
Das ist erst mal egal. Sowie es aussieht hat der Treiber dafür wohl die Panik ausgelöst. Keine Ahnung jetzt, warum. Da wäre mal ein EtreCheck-Report hilfreich.

hmm...
ich würde nach updates für diese Apps ausschau halten und ansonsten auf macOS 11.1 warten, (das wohl am Dienstag kommt)
Da sind einige verbesserungen für Rosetta2 angekündigt worden.


Aber das sind eher nicht die Fehler die die Kernel Panic Verursachen.
Aber auch da würde ich sinnvollerweise erstmal die füße still halten und bis dienstag warten... (wenn möglich)

Suunto Link ist für meine GPS-Uhr. Glaube aber nicht, dass das mit der Panic zu tun hat.
Transmit ist zwar von Panic, aber eher auch unkritisch, da bereits Universal. ;)
GoPro - Hmm, dem Verein traue ich alles zu.... :hehehe:

Ansonsten hoffe ich auch auf 11.1.
Kommt mir nicht vieles mit der heißen Nadel gestrickt vor. Aber war ja zu erwarten.

Der scheint definitiv geladen zu sein. Also auch beim Betrieb am USB-C. Kann man den nicht einfach irgendwie deaktivieren?

Ich denke, es bleibt dabei auf 11.1 zu warten und zu hoffen.

Das ist aber in meinen Augen durchaus ein Fehler, den Apple recht sicher und schnell adressieren wird.

Es hatte mich schon gewundert, dass ich, wenn ich einen Kopfhörer am Audioausgang des Monitors anstöpsle, keine Lautstärke regeln kann. Das ist doch auch nicht normal, oder?

Doch, lässt dich macOS halt nicht bei digitaler Übertragung.
 
Kleines Update:

11.1 hat keine Besserung gebracht. Im Gegenteil. Gestern hatte ich als kleines Add-On noch folgende Panic:

panic(cpu 0 caller 0xfffffe002e4abd9c): Sleep transition timed out after 35 seconds while entering darkwake on way to sleep. Suspected bundle: com.apple.iokit.IOUSBHostFamily. Thread 0xba2f8.
 
Habe das selbe Problem mit einem Asus ProArt PA328Q verbunden via Lindy USB 3,1 Type C zu DisplayPort Adapter.

Tritt auch unter macOS 11.2 Beta (20D5029f) noch auf.

Habe den Monitor normal an einem CalDigit TB3 Plus Dock angeschlossen, aber dort gibt es regelmäßig ein Erkennungsloop das sich nur durch Reboot des MBA beheben lässt. Gibt allerdings auch mit dem Adapter regelmäßig Probleme, dass der Monitor nach dem Sleep nicht erkannt wird und nur ein Reboot hilft.

Ich werde mal testen, ob ich den Crash auch bekomme, wenn der Monitor am Thunderbolt Dock hängt.

Der PA328Q hat auch ein eingebautes Audio-Interface. Im System Report wird als Hersteller unter Audio -> PA328 "ACI" gelistet (vermutlich Asus Computer International) und als Transport DisplayPort.

Abschalten lässt sich das Interface nicht, man kann nur die aktive Quelle wechseln.
 
Auf Reddit gibt es ähnliche Berichte, danach tritt der Crash sowohl via DisplayPort als auch HDMI auf.

Früher oder später dürfte der Bug wohl gefixt werden. Es kann sicher nicht schaden einen Feedback Report an Apple zu senden.

Eine Beobachtung aus dem Reddit Thread war, dass das Problem meist über Nacht auftritt. Bei mir war es auch meist über Nacht oder während der Mac gesperrt und der Monitor im Sleep-Modus war.

Ein Workaround könnte also sein den externen Monitor zu trennen, bevor der Rechner in den Schlafmodus geht.
