Eclipse Mac OS X Tutorial!
Habe hier für alle eclipse user mal ein kleines tutorial, wie man eclipse unter os x zum laufen bekommt.
Ausserdem gibt es wohl bereits ein Mac OS X Native Release, hab ich aber noch nicht ausprobiert....
How to run Eclipse 2.0 on MacOS X
--------------------------------------------
_ Unpack the archive, mount the disk image and copy its contents into
a folder 'Eclipse 2.0' on your hard disk
_ Download any Eclipse SDK 2.0 or 2.0.1 release (platform does not matter)
from
www.eclipse.org into your 'Eclipse 2.0' folder
_ unpack the Eclipse zip file with /usr/bin/unzip (don't use StuffIt Expander
because
it silently truncates file names longer than 31 characters!);
open the top level folder 'eclipse'
_ Open the context menu on the aplication 'Eclipse 2.0' and select
'Show Package Contents': the application opens as a folder (the 'bundle').
_ Drill down to 'Contents/Resources/Java' and copy the contents of
the previously opened folder 'eclipse' into the folder 'Java'
(if the 'Contents' folder is disabled and you cannot open it,
just log-out and log-in again or use the command line)
_ Delete the single plugin 'org.eclipse.swt.Xyz_2.0.0' where Xyz corresponds
to the platform that you've downloaded in step 2 (one of 'gtk', 'motif',
'photo', 'win32').
_ Copy the three MacOS X plugins into 'Contents/Resources/Java/plugins'
_ Close all folders and double click the 'Eclipse 2.0' application.
After a minute or so it should open an empty workspace showing a Readme
document.

Viel Spass beim Basteln,
