itunes interpretiert mp3 als quicktime-file! Warum?

Hallo zusammen,

ich ein wenig verzweifelt:
Ich habe meine mp3-Sammlung erneut in itunes importiert, d.h. ich habe meinen mp3/aac-Ordner ins itunes Fenster geworfen, damit itunes die Dateien in seinen verwalteten Ordner kopieren und sortieren kann.

Nun werden etliche mp3-Dateien in itunes in der spalte "art" als quicktime angezeigt und die id3-tags sind teilweise FUTSCH. *HEUL*

"Konvertieren zu" macht keinen sinn, da es sich ja bereits um mp3-Dateien handelt. Ich habe schon Dateiendungen überprüft und die Programmzuweisung unter "Informationen". Obwohl es sich eindeutig(?) um mp3 files handelt, die itunes zugeordnet wurden, interpretiert itunes sie als quicktime dateien.

Hat jemand eine Idee? Vielen Dank....

Dieses mp3 / quicktime problem scheint auf einem bug in itunes 4.9 zu beruhen. itunes kann ja nun auch filme abspielen, also wird erstmal alles als filmdatei behandelt. Im apple-eigenen forum gibt ein script das zu ändern, aber für grössere sammlungen ist das zu unkomfortabel.

Habs probiert. So unkomfortabel ist es doch nicht. Im Gegenteil.

Hier ist die Lösung:

Es scheint sich um einen Bug in itunes 4.9 zu handeln, der mp3-dateien als quicktime-files interpretiert. Diese Script hilft. habs im apple discussion forum gefunden.

To fix this, you can copy this AppleScript to your Script Editor and save it as an application. Then, when you come across one of these files in your iTunes library, choose "Show Song File" (command-R) from the File menu. Then drag the song file onto the application you saved.

I've not tested it really extensively, so be kind of careful, but it should only affect MP3 files that have "mp3" as the extension. You can even change multiple files at once.

Finally, the sound quality of the files won't be affected, since you're not re-compressing them, just changing the type and creator code.

Sorry, dass ich diesen alten Thread nochmals ausgrabe, aber das Problem scheint noch immer nicht behoben zu sein. Das mit dem Skript ist doch ziemlich schlecht und wenn die Musik nicht über Airtunes wiedergegeben werden kann, ist das noch schlechter.
