iPod Mini 4GB - Festplattentausch möglich?

Hi,

ich habe mir einen iPod Mini 4GB gekauft, und habe ein paar Fragen.
Die Festplatte ist doch eine Standard Microdrive HDD, oder? Ist es möglich, die 4GB HDD in Zukunft gegen eine 10GB (oder größer) auszutauschen?

Hat jemand sowas eventuell schonmal gemacht, und schon Erfahrungen damit gesammelt?

AFAIK nicht wirklich:

iPods have drives with customized firmware so it is not possible to use non-iPod versions of the drives in an iPod (at least with full functionality.) It's doubtful that the minis will be any different in this regard. You should be able to use the drive from a mini in another device, but a drive/card which isn't from an iPod probably won't work in iPod mini.

Doch, doch, man kann iPod-Festplatten durch andere mit mehr Speicherplatz ersetzen, wenn man es schafft, die 3 Partitionen der Original-Platte auf die neue zu kopieren bzw. zumindest die 1. und 2. Partition (mit Master Boot Record bzw. Firmware - die 3. Partition kann man ja selber formatieren etc.) !
Anleitungen gibt's natürlich in den Weiten des Internet...
