macOS Big Sur iMac starte sehr langsam

Hallo wer hat da eine Idee was meinen iMac so ausbremsen könnte?
es dauert 50" bis zur Anmeldung und 55" bis ich mit dem Mail arbeiten kann!
ich machte einen clean install vom macOS Big Sur 11.1

die Anmeldeobjekte sind: Spark (e-mail Progr.) und Dropbox
in der Aktivitätsanzeige kenn ich mich nicht aus was während dem Aufstarten geschieht.

Jo, die Dinger sind für heutige Verhältnisse ziemlicher Müll. Du brauchst eine reine SSD, dann fluppt es wieder. Möglicherweise stirbt die HDD dazu gerade sowieso.

Das kommt darauf an. Bei den kleinen FD wie hier ist der SSD-Teil so klein, das (heute) kaum mehr als das System selbst drauf passt. Oft nicht einmal alles das was drauf müsste.

Ich habe Bekannte die haben iMacs mit FD und nutzen Catalina und Big Sur ohne Probleme.

vielleicht haben sie größere Fusion Drives mit größerem SSD-Teil. Oder sie starten nicht so oft neu. Oder sie beschweren sich halt nicht, weil sie es gewohnt sind. Oder das System ist nicht so zugemüllt. Oder, oder, oder …

Das Problem ist sicher etwas tiefschichtiger als nur das FD.

Ja, es kommen noch andere Fehlerquellen in Betracht. Aber ein Fusion Drive ist 2021 nun einmal absolut unzeitgemäß und veraltet.


Wenn der Fragesteller möchte, kann er uns ja mal einen Überblick über sein System geben. Erstelle doch bitte ein Systemprotokoll, damit wir alle wesentlichen Informationen auf einen Blick haben:

Natürlich ist ein FD nicht mehr zeitgemäß aber es funktioniert und das für normale Anwender bisher gut auch mit neuen macOSs.

Ein Kollege hat meinen iMac 27 Zoll aus 2019 mit 1TB FD also der kleinen 28 GB SSD als SSD Teil.

Ein anderer Kollege hat einen iMac 27 Zoll aus 2015 mit 2TB FD also mit 128GB SSD als SSD Teil.

Beide berichten bisher nicht von Geschwindigkeitseinbußen nach Updates. Details zu ihrer Nutzung kenne ich nicht. Aber zumindest bei einem ist der iMac grundsätzlich im Ruhezustand.

Wird der iMac des TS also erst kürzlich ausgebremst (seit Big Sur) oder war das schon immer so. Geliefert wurde der iMac 2019 entweder mit Mojave oder Catalina soweit ich weiß.

Ach du liebes bisschen …

Zu der grottigen 5400er HDD gesellen sich fatale Fehlentscheidungen BitDefender und auch noch CleanMyMac zu installieren. Diese System kann ja nur mies laufen. Runter damit nach Herstellervorgabe.

Ist bei Bitfender irgendeine Realtime Access Prüfung aktiv, so dass jeder Dateizugriff überprüft wird?

Lies mal bitte die SMART Werte der HDD mit dem DriveDX Demo aus.

Ja, und zwar restlos nach Herstellervorgabe, nicht einfach löschen.
