iMac Pro ist kaum schneller als der alte

Hallo,

könnte auch an falsch konfigurierter oder installierter Software liegen. Las mal etrecheck laufen und poste mal das Ergebniss.

Zum Glück hatte ich (weiblich) noch nie Schadsoftware auf dem Mac.

Sieht soweit sehr gut aus. Da duerfte absolut nichts "beach balling". Aber interessanter waere mal der Report von deinem alten iMac gewesen.
 
Ich würde ja sagen....... hak es als Lehrbeispiel ab und freu Dich an dem neuen Mac.
Den alten kannst Du ja verkaufen.

Schade, dass EtreCheck keinen Vollzugriff hat, da sieht man nicht alles. Sieht soweit aber auch ganz gut aus. Kann mir vielleicht vorstellen, dass die Epson-Software Huddel macht, muss aber nicht sein. RAM scheint auch noch ausreichend zu sein. U.U. eine Inkompatibilitaet zwischen der Epson-Software und Microsoft?

Ja, leider.

Aber mir ist bei der Analyse von Etrecheck etwas aufgefallen. Da steht, dass es ein Modell aus 2017 ist. Das hat der Verkäufer nirgendwo angegeben. Wenn ich einen iMac im August 2019 kaufe, dann gehe ich doch davon aus, dass der iMac von 2019 ist. Wurde mir - zu allem Übel - ein Ladenhüter angedreht? Oder habe ich erneut eine Wissenslücke, was die Modelle angeht?

Verdammt, aber es wird angezeigt, wenn ich auf "Über diesen Mac" klicke. Wer richtig hinsehen kann ist klar im Vorteil. Ich glaube das alles nicht mehr... :koch:

Genau, Modell (Jahr) ist wann das betreffende Modell auf den Markt kam. Wann dein Mac hergestellt wurde, kannst du z.B. mit MachineProfile herausfinden. Der iMac Pro ist mit Modelljahr 2017 derzeit noch aktuell.

Oh mit solchen Aussagen wäre ich hier vorsichtig, schon mancher wurde dann direkt wegen Diskreminierung angegangen, weil man ja damit ausdrückt, dass alle Blonden Menschen dumm wären :D
Ne ohne Witz, die Vorwürfe kamen mal wegen dem Audruck "Blauäugig sein" ;)

Aber wo wie ich das Verstanden habe benutzt du den Rechner nur für Surfen und Office und ganz selten mal Videobearbeitung?
Du könntest natürlich dem Händler die ganze Sache schildern und fragen, ob er ihn trotz Ablauf der Widerrufsfrist zurücknimmt. Und wenn nicht, dann verkaufe den alten iMac und freu dich über den neuen! Dann such Dir halt etwas wie du die Leistung ausreizen kannst. Mach mehr Bild und Videobearbeitung, Drehe Videos und schneide die zusammen ;)

So ein augenscheinlicher Fehlkauf kann ja auch etwas positives in Sachen neuer Hobbies mit sich bringen :)

Ich denke dass beim alten iMac auch die olle drehende HDD manchmal ein Problem gewesen sein könnte.
