Hallo Leute,

ich hoffe jemand kann mir weiterhelfen oder mir verraten in welcher Richtung mein problem liegen könnte.
Seit ich meinen Mac ende Dezember 2013 bekommen habe kackt er dauernd ab. In der Regel völlig willkürlich, egal ob Programm offen sind oder er nur im leerlauf vor sich hin läuft, plötzlich isa weg. Hier mal einer der ersten Logs im nächsten post.

hab grad nur den gespeichert gehabt, kann normal aber den nächsten morgen schicken. Ein tag ohne kernel panic gibts leider so gut wie nicht :(
Oft stürzt er nach wenigen Minuten ab, manchmal nach 8h erst... vollkommen zufällig irgendwie.
Bis jetzt versucht habe ich den Hardwaretest von apple, hatte nichts herausgefunden.
Auffällig oft war es beim wiederherstellen eines Backups vom 4S aufs 5S, sage und schreibe 4 Kernel panics an einem Abend! Ich dachte ich muss auf meinen alten win server ausweichen um es aufzuspielen weil er es nicht schaffte.
Zur info noch. Ein Kollege hat einen baugleichen nur größere SSD drin vom gleichen shop am gleichen tag bestellt und hat die selben Symptome. Lässt sich nicht ausschalten (hängt mit white screen oder wie man das beim mac nennt) und kernel panics. Ist mein erster mac und bin noch nicht so vertraut mit allem. Kann mir jemand nen tipp geben??

Hat euch der Shop extra Speicher eingebaut?

Das 0x0198 deutet auf Kingston und die sind nicht original.
 
Hatten mit 32Gb bestellt, sind Aber laut log lauter gleiche wenn ich das richtig sehe, obs die "richtigen" sind kann ich nicht sagen... bei nem win pc ists ja eig humpe was man reinsteckt. Spielt das beim mac ne rolle?
 
Und was sollte rein? Hatten bei mactrade gekauft.. BTO hies es, also sie werden gefertigt und dann erst zu ihnen geschickt. aber wo und wann der Speicher reinkam weiß ich leider nicht.

Habs grad gelesen: "Am besten durch Crucial (Micron), SK Hynix o. Samsung Speicher ersetzen."

Und das kann tatsächlich am Hersteller liegen?!

Samsung und Hynx (Verbaut Apple selbst) machen keine Probleme. Kingston verbaut Apple nicht, darum hat es Mactrade eingebaut.
 
Auch ich gehöre mit meinem neuen iMac late 2013 zu den unregelmässigen "Kernel panic"-Geschädigten. Ich bin allerdings vorsichtig, dies nur dem RAM zuzuschreiben. Auch ich habe Kingston Ram (32 GB) verbaut, bzw. verbauen lassen, allerdings mit den von Apple geforderten Spezifikationen (z.B. 1.35 V, nicht 1.5 V usw.).
Dies ist nicht der einzige Thread in diesem Forum, der sich mit Kernel panics von late 2013 iMacs befasst und ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dasss alle nur mit RAM-Problemen zu kämpfen haben.
Es deutet einiges darauf hin, dass Leute mit einer Vollausstattung (=32 GB) vermehrt mit Kernel panics zu tun haben, dies im Zusammenhang mit der Hardware, verwendeter Peripherie, speziell USB 2.0 Geräte, die scheinbar an den 3.0-Anschlüssen des neuen iMac manchmal Probleme verursachen, der verwendeten Software und nicht zuletzt auch des Betriebssystems (hier Mavericks). Also gewissermassen eine "multifaktorielle" Ursache, deren Grund möglicherweise nicht so schnell gefunden wird.
Mein englischsprechender "Kollege" hat es so formuliert:

I'm also convinced that the 32Gb Max Memory is not the sole criteria for the kernel panics, though it must
be linked somewhere...

In think the memory quality is not the problem, but the software, possible Apple.

I've run several tests on the memory without error, yet if you try to use the iMac for normal work or daily use, you get reboots once in a while. The report afterwards shows several different causes, so there's no single thing to point at from my experience. Of course having this issue is far from funny, but I leave all the memory in to see if things change over time.

I also have Mavericks runnning on an older iMac (2009), without any issue or problem. Memory is standard 4Gb.

What I've noticed so far though is that Chrome or iTunes in particular give me more kernel panics. When I stay away from
them, I have for less panics. Also updates on Flash seem to have stabilised the issues with Adobe products.

Sometimes even using Finder causes a kernel panic.

I also tend to close a program instead of minimizing it when I'm done - to prevent & to be on the safe side.

I do hope that "soon" the culprit is found and that this can be resolved. Be it Crucial or Apple or whatever 3rd party thing
in order to be able to use the machine to it's full potential, which is currently far from the case.

Vielen Dank für den Link Gotsche, ich werd das mal machen. Ich hab ja noch mehr Logs und so wie ichs sehe tauchen auch oft programme oder sonstiges auf als Ursache. Aber vollkommen unterschiedlich. Ich sags meinen Kollegen mal morgen er soll auch einen log Speichern und mir schicken damit man mal schaun kann was bei ihm drinsteht, die beiden Macs sind ja praktisch identisch bis auf die platte. Ich vermute auch das die software allgemein nicht unschuldig ist. Das Iphone meiner Freundin hatte auch dauernde Abstürze und nach nem update wars weg. Mein ipad hat das problem immer noch, hoffe auch auf einen baldigen fix :)
 
Bei meinem Mac lag es defintiv am Speicher bei exakt demselben Szenario. War zwar kein 2013-er Mac, aber nun ja. Fakt ist zumindest, dass der Speicher wohl immer der Hauptverdächtige ist, aber auch, dass ganz bestimmt Ausnahmen die Regel bestätigen.
 
Dann muss ich wohl mal mit Mactrade reden, oder erst mal mit dem Kollegen, den die beiden Macs wurden zusammen geordert über ihn. Den hergeben evtl wieder 10 Wochen kann ich ihn auf keinen Fall, entweder ersetzten sie mir die kosten für die Riegel und ich schick ihnen diese zurück nachdem ich mir neue gekauft hab oder sonst was, aber den ganzen Mac einschicken geht nicht :/ Ich brauch den guten
 
Ich hatte damals Glück und hatte nur den Speicher selbst nachgerüstet, aber die alten Originalriegel auch noch gehabt. Also Aufrüstung rückgängig gemacht (und Mac nicht einschicken müssen) und verschwunden waren die nervigen Kernel Panics. Dann den separat nachgerüsteten Speicher ausgetauscht gegen eine andere Marke und damit kamen die Panics dann auch nicht wieder. :)

tausch den Speicher und habe Ruhe... Meiner sitzt seit 1 Jahr mit 32GB ohne einen einzigen Absturz... Ich habe meinen Speicher damals bei DSP bestellt.
Ich musste den Apple Speicher entfernen, weil der Apple Hynix Speicher nicht mit dem vom Samsung kompatibel war.
 
Ich hab mir ja den Mac aus genau dem Grund gekauft, ich wollte ein zuverlässiges, schnelles und stabiles system das vor allem dabei verdammt gut ausschaut... den großen Plastik windows container untern Schreibtisch hatte ich satt. Doch das kein einziger tag momentan vergeht ohne panic is scho hart, des hätte ich nie gedacht das des an so was banalen wie nem Speicher liegen kann... bei mein win pc wars vollkommen egal was da alles drinsteckte, so langs reinpasste liefs auch^^ Dann muss ich mal schaun wie ich das am besten mach m it den kosten, selbst bezahlen will ichs nicht. is ja ned mein murks. Hast du mal links zufällig wo man die korrekten Speicher Riegel bekommen kann? Amazon wär top:)
 
wurde der Speicher beim Kauf mit den gleichen Modulen erweitert oder hat dein Händler den Orginalen Speicher von Apple behalten?
Bestelle dir doch einfach mal 16 GB von Samsung... 2x8 GB zum Testen ob es damit passt reicht es doch. Wenn der passt kannst du dir noch einmal 2 Riegel holen.
 
Das weiß ich leider nicht... ich hab ihn BTO bei Mactrade mit 32Gb bestellt, was da genau getan wurde muss ich erst in erfahrung bringen. Oder ich frag mal meinen Computer dealer des Vertrauens um die ecke ob ders ned für paar € gegen andere Tauschen würde.
Is egal welche von Samsung? Spielt doch bestimmt auch ne rolle oder?
