Hi, vorgestern hat sich mein iMac von alleine beendet und gestern entdeckte ich den Fehlerbericht (ihr Computer wurde unerwartet beendet oder so ähnlich...).

und was bedeutet das genau?! was kann ich dagegen tun?
 
Wenn es sich tatsächlich darum handelt (ich lese das aus dem ersten Post), dann kannst du eigentlich gar nix tun, ausser ein neues Logicboard durch Apple verbauen lassen. Soviel ich weiss sind die Grafikkarten in den iMacs verlötet, weswegen man die nicht einzeln austauschen kann.

Die Kosten dafür dürften dann aber so hoch sein, dass sich ein neuer iMac wohl eher lohnt. Aber vielleicht kann ja jemand mein Verdacht widerlegen.

EDIT: Wenn es sich bei der Grafikkarte um die NVIDIA 9400M handelt, dann nimmt sie sich das RAM vom Hauptarbeitsspeicher. Diesen könntest du separat austauschen. Lass doch mal den Hardwaretest von der DVD durchlaufen. ;)

also reicht mal ein hardwaretest von apple?
habe aktuell mavericks, lieber aus der original dvd von SL oder einfach mal mit "d" booten?
 
Probiers mal einfach mit D... Wenns geht ist gut, sonst halt von der System DVD...

EDIT: Hab grad mal im Mactracker nachgesehen. Der iMac 9,1 (Early 2009) 24" hat entweder eine Geforce 9400M oder dann die GT120, die GT130 oder die AMD Radeon HD4850 installiert. Den 20" gabs nur mit der 9400M.

Die 9400M nimmt sich das VRAM vom Hauptspeicher (Shared Memory). Ich vermute deshalb, dass du einfach defektes RAM hast.

Passendes Ersatz-RAM wäre: 2 x 4 GB 204 Pin SO-DIMM PC3-8500 (1066 MHz) DDR3 RAM.
 
jetzt fällt mir ein, dass ich ja schon voriges jahr ram ausgetauscht habe...
habe genau 2 x 4 GB DDR3 ram drin (mit 1067 MHz) ... davor hatte ich nur 1 x 4!
kann es sein, dass sie so schnell kaputt werden?!
 
Ja, RAM ist zugänglich. Der Hardwaretest muss aber auch nicht unbedingt aussagekräftig sein. Es kommt immer mal wieder vor, dass der AHT sagt alles sei in Ordnung, in Wahrheit ist das RAM aber defekt. Aber mal durchlaufen lassen kann nicht schaden.

habe mir auf der webseite die datei unter Download - Pre-Compiled Bootable ISO (.zip) heruntergeladen, ist es die richtige datei?
was muss ich jetzt machen? in der readme.txt datei steht

(muss jetzt aber weg - schau mal später wieder rein...)
 
das ist ein ISO image, also schön auf CD (aber nicht als datei auf eine daten cd) und davon starten...
kannst mit dem festplattendienstprogramm und image brennen...

Edit: ok hat geklappt. Es läuft grade, ist bei 8% ...
 
Hm nicht dass ich wüsste, muss danach überprüfen ob ich so was mal installiert habe...
 
Also beim memtest steht nun pass complete, no errors, press esc to exit - aber er läuft noch... Esc geht nicht, soll ich abwarten oder abrupt neustarten?

Beim memtesten kannst du ihn auch abschiessen, da passiert nix.

Ansonsten würde ich den Test mal bei Gelegenheit ein paar Runden laufen lassen.
