iMac 27" i7 Mitte 2010 - Safari + Chrome Browser stürzen ab

Hallo liebe Community,

habe mir vor zwei Wochen einen iMac 27" i7 Mitte 2010 2,93 GHz geholt, mit 12GB RAM und verbauter SSD + HDD und DVD Laufwerk.

Das System ist komplett frisch aufgesetzt, die Browser beinhalten keinerlei Erweiterungen etc. und trotzdem stürzen Sie bei jeder Gelegenheit ab. Festplattendiestprogramm hab ich auch schon laufen lassen und die Platten überprüft. Was kann ich jetzt noch tun?

Hast du bisher ausser OS noch was anderes aufgespielt?
Wenn nein dann deinstalliere mal Chrome und Java um nutze wenn möglich den Uninstaller dieser Programme:

Hallo rembremerdinger - Danke für deine Antwort!
Habe den iMac erst seit zwei Wochen und habe noch überhaupt keine Daten drauf. Daher ist TimeMachine noch nicht notwendig.
Safari ist schon ständig abgestürzt (meist bei YouTube Sachen) bevor ich Chrome installiert hab.
Es sind komplett nur die Hauseigenen Programme von Apple installiert sonst noch gar nichts.
Bin bissi verzweifelt woran das liegen könnt.

Bei Safari kommt ständig: "Safari-Webinhalt wurde unerwartet beendet:"
Bei Chrome kommt: "Oh nein! Beim Anzeigen dieser Webseite ist ein Fehler aufgetreten"

Entweder gehst Du auf sehr merkwürdige Webseiten, oder vielleicht ist was anderes kaputt. Ich würde den Speicher mal ausbauen und nur teilweise zum Überprüfen wieder einbauen.

Das wäre noch eine Idee. Kann man eigentlich RAM Riegel auch Softwareseitig deaktivieren, ohne dass man den Mac aufschrauben muss?

Ich antworte für ihn nein kann man nicht, aber das aufschrauben ist nicht so ein Hexenwerk.

Hallo kira12, werde das auch mal noch ausprobieren. Wenn da nichts bei rauskommt, schraub ich den iMac auf und entferne nach und nach den RAM-Speicher.

Ohne mich jetzt zu weit aus dem Fenster lehnen zu wollen (bin kein Entwickler) würde ich sagen, das hat was mit Javascript zu tun. Könntest Du uns sagen, welche Webseite du da angesurft hast?

Dann würde ich mal anfangen den Speicher zu testen. Zusätzlich wäre vielleicht der Valley-Benchmark ganz sinnvoll, der lastet die ganze Maschine richtig aus.

Servus alle zusammen, ich hatte dir ja schon mal empfohlen die Programme( Java, Goggle Chrome ) zu deinstallieren.
Bin jetzt auch nicht gerade der Superkenner aber wenn ich alles was du in dem Link gepostet hast lese komme ich zur selben Einschätzung wie electricdawn Java hat da einen Hau weg.
Bevor man jetzt das Pferd von hinten her aufzäumt, mache mal das was mein Vorredner vorgeschlagen hat Ram testen und den Benchmarktest.
Falls da nichts rauskommt was ich mir nicht vorstellen kann, kannst ja immer noch einen Cleaninstall durchziehen.
Aber lass dann Chrome mal weg und versuche dich am Firefox der flutscht bei mit ohne Probleme.
Ja es gibt einige Sachen die brauchen Java aber das kannst ja dann auch neu installieren.

Hallo,

du kannst auch MacOS auf einem externen Medium installieren zum testen. Damit schließt du die Festplatte und das installierte MacOS als Fehler aus.
