iMac 27" 5K 2017 (Langsam obwohl CPU und Speicher frei sind)

Guten Morgen in die Runde,
ich habe seit Wochen Probleme mit meinem iMac, dass er total langsam wird (Beachball) und teilweise ewig braucht, um hochzufahren. Ich habe ihn mehrfach neu aufgesetzt und mal klappt es, dass er schnell und flott ist, dann wird er wieder langsam. CPU (i5), Speicher (40GB bzw. jetzt testweise mit 32GB...habe den RAM mal testweise herausgenommen) ist alles von der Aktivität her überhaupt nicht ausgelastet und trotzdem scheint irgendwas das System zu bremsen. Ich habe das Fusion Drive aufgelöst und die HDD durch eine SSD (mit Thermalkabel) ersetzt. Die kleine 28GB Platte von Apple ist noch drin und als "Speicher" freigegeben, wird aber nicht genutzt.

Ich hatte den Rechner gestern wieder neu aufgesetzt und auch angefangen alle Daten zu kopieren. Das ging gestern Abend alles echt sehr fix und stabil. Wenn ich dann neu boot, dauert in der Folge alles ewig, mit Beachball und Browser anklicken und nach 1min öffnet er langsam das Fenster. Hinzu kommt, dass ich gestern 90GB an Daten in 10/20 kopieren konnte und heute wollte ich meine Musik (116GB) kopieren und er schreibt mir 6 Stunden an Dauer, was einfach nicht normal ist. Kurios ist, dass ich beim Migrationsassistenten für 500GB ca 10h benötige, dass ging aber auch mal in 4h. Also irgendwie hänge ich da echt fest. Mac OS Ventura 13.1. ist installiert.

Ich hatte gestern mal die TRIM Funktion aktiviert, um zu schauen ob sie da was ändert.

Ich habe noch Bootcamp und da läuft Windows schnell und flüssig ohne Probleme.

Vielleicht habt ihr ein paar Ideen?

Ich bin mittlerweile echt frustiriert.

Danke, ich werde die Werte heute Nachmittag auslesen lassen und dann reinstellen. Vielleicht fällt mir direkt etwas auf oder jemand hier hat einen guten Blick.
 
Hab gestern noch gelesen, das manche aktuelle SSDs für Read Rate Degradation anfällig sind.
Da werden Daten, die lange nicht gelesen wurden, nur sehr langsam gelesen.
 
Ich habe gestern noch ein bisschen dran gearbeitet und gestern Abend lief er super flüssig und alles schnell. Heute ist er wieder relativ langsam. Etrecheck meldet bei Performance auch Poor. Ich habe gestern bei Bootcamp geschaut....CPU 3% oder 4%, Ram 3-4% und SSD 100% Auslastung.
Ich habe mir ein Gehäuse bestellt und werde mal meine alte SSD an USB C anschließen und von dort booten und schauen was sich verändert.

Fällt sonst was auf?

Wie ich sehe ist auf deinem iMac Trim deaktiviert. Dein iMac könnte gut deswegen langsam sein. Trim kannst du im Programm Terminal aktivieren: Gib folgendes ein

sudo trimforce enable

tippe danach Enter, gib dein Passwort ein, tippe nochmals Enter und mache einen Neustart.

Das steht im Report bei den "Drives:" ziemlich am Anfang und betrifft nur SSDs und hier deine 2TB SSD. Die Apple Blade SSD hat TRIM enabled.
Das acht zwar die SSD nicht langsam aber es ist von Vorteil auch wenn manche es sogar bewußt abschalten.
also er hat da auf jeden fall etwas
Geh doch bei driveDX auf den Fehler.

Crucial ist keine SSD die ich kaufen werde, wie wäre es, eine andere SSD, wie Transcend, probeweise einzubauen. Mit den Kabeln gab es Probleme, das waren die ohne "Schloss", das Metall Bügel oben drauf.

Was hat denn ein defektes Kabel mit der SSD zutun. Die SSD scheint ja in Ordnung zu sein oder wie muss ich deinen Post verstehen?
 
Crucial ist keine SSD die ich kaufen werde, wie wäre es, eine andere SSD, wie Transcend, probeweise einzubauen. Mit den Kabeln gab es Probleme, das waren die ohne "Schloss", das Metall Bügel oben drauf.
Jeder kann kaufen was er will. Mit Crucial (Micron) wählt man gewöhnlich einen der besten Hersteller.
