iChat ohne AIM und .mac account?

Hi,

ich bin ja total gespannt wie das mit den neuen iChat funktioniert. Ich habe mit direkt die Beta von A/V runtergeladen und bin wieder an der Registrierung gescheitert.

Kann man sich bei AOL auch einen AIM account holen auch wenn man da nicht Kunde ist?
Oder gibt es einen anderen weg, z.B. mit der ICQ nummer oder so?

Ich habe gestern mit meiner Nachbarin über WLAN "audio-gechattet". Funktioniert wie gewohnt simpel und auf Anhieb. Cool!

es ist ja nun mit ICQ möglich mit AIM Kontakten zu quatschen ohne das man einen AIM Account hat

Kann man auch an den Chats von iChat teilnehmen oder geht das mit ICQ nicht (vorsichtdosenicq)

kann man eigentlich mit AVChat auch mit ICQ User ohne ICQ Account quatschen ?

Now that AOL has linked ICQ and AIM, you can add ICQ users to your iChat buddy list. Go to your Address Book and add your buddy's ICQ number, not alias, to the AIM field in address book. Then open iChat AV and choose to add them. Your Buddy must be using the newest ICQ Lite that supports this.

Now you can see them go on and offline, and vice versa for them. In iChat AV, it's completely seamless, you just see buddies, not protocols or instant messanger icons.

Habe ich gerade mit Mauki versucht. Es geht nicht!

Nicht bei allen ...

Jetzt habe ich Mauki drin.

Andere ICQler gehen nicht. Sie haben wohl einen älteren Messenger. Somit ist das noch nichts ausgereiftes.

Macht nichts. Ich kann ja friedlich ICQ und iChat Fenster nebeneinander haben.
Unter OSX arbeitet man halt mit Fenstern ...
