HILFE macOS Fehler ⇒ Downgrade mit TimeMachine

Sehr geehrte MacUser,

Ich habe gestern das Update gemacht und nun läuft ein wichtiges Programm von mir nicht. Ich möchte gerne über TimeMachine mein Backup aufspielen.

Da ich eine dringende Abgabefrist habe, muss die Installation des Backups möglichst schnell gehen.

Ich hoffe ihr könnt mir helfen.

PS: Das Update hätte ich natürlich nicht machen sollen, aber ich dachte, dass ein kleines Update von 15.3.X auf 15.4 schon gut laufen wird....

Das Programm heißt QtiPlot. Es lief auf der vorherigen Version und lässt sich jetzt nicht mehr öffnen. Jedes Mal erscheint eine Fehlermeldung.

Beim Einschalten die POWERtaste gedrückt halten und dann die Recovery auswählen. Die Snapshots werden vom System angelegt und da geht es dann am schnellsten zurück. Musst nichts machen (ausser eben im Recovery zu starten).

Nachdem ich die Wiederherstellungsquelle ausgewählt habe, wähle ich mein Backup aus. Hier wird mir gesagt, dass ich den Migrationsassistenten verwenden soll: Drücke ich auf „macOS installieren“, komme ich direkt ins Menü wo sich der gante Prozess wiederholt….

mit dem fehlerbericht kann ich nichts anfangen, aber ich kann dir erzählen wie du die lokalen snapshots verwendest um mit TimeMachine den Mac wieder herzustellen:

• Time Machine-Systemwiederherstellung: Stelle deine Daten aus einem Time Machine-Backup wieder her. Klicke in der App „Wiederherstellung“ auf „Aus Time Machine wiederherstellen“ und klicke dann auf „Fortfahren“. Wähle „Time Machine-Systemwiederherstellung“ > „Time Machine-Systemwiederherstellung beenden“, um zur App „Wiederherstellung“ zurückzukehren. Weitere Informationen findest du unter Time Machine zum Wiederherstellen deines Systems verwenden.

Als Quelle für das Backup verwendest du die lokale, eingebaute Platte/SSD. Dann werden dir die dorot verfügbaren snapshots angezeigt. Dort nimmst du halt eines (falls vorhanden) das vor dem Update war.

Bei jedem Systemupdate legt macOS automatisch einen derarigen Snapshot an. Aber der bleibt nicht ewig erhalten. Auf jeden Fall 24 Std.

Llaut dem Fehlerreport wird Python 2.7 nicht gefunden.

Mit dem update von macOS wird Python 2 vom System entfernt.

Das wurde bereits seit Ewigkeiten angekündigt und steht so auch in den Release Notes zu 12.3. Und ja ich weiß, keiner hat Lust die Release Notes zu lesen.
