Gibt es keine vernünftigen IRC Clients für OS X???

Weiss jemand, ob es ein Perform in Snak gibt?
 
Ich nutze den All in One Instant Messanger. "Fire". Funzt wunderbar
 
als shellpurist kann ich nur irssi empfehlen.
schlank, stabil, multiserverfaehig und halt
auch sonst klein und schick..

falls es bunt und mit brauchbarer gui was
sein soll, schau mal nach macirssi.

Vielleicht interessiert das Thema ja den einen oder anderen noch: ich habe Feedback vom Entwickler zu diesem Thema:

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, in the profile list you can edit the
profile you are using. It has a field for startup commands which will
do this.

However, they are not the ideal solution for authentication because
they are only run when you connect to the server. That means when for
example you experience a netsplit you will have to authenticate
manually.

The current version of Snak, which is 4.11 has an Actions list which is
much better suited to this task. An Action is an automatic response to
an event.

For example you can set up an Action that responds to a message from
"Q" containg a string like "if this is your nick" and as a response it
can send a private message, or run a particular command etc. to
authenticate.

This will do the job even if you go through a netsplit which may
require you to reauthenticate.
