Geht Fotos nicht mit iMac 27inch, late 2013?

Hi,
bei diesem Computer "beachballed" die "Fotos-App" immer, öffnet sich gare nicht oder zeigt alles unscharf.
Woran könnte das liegen?

Zuletzt bearbeitet:
theoretisch sollte Fotos auf dem Becher laufen.... ich hab selbst den gleichen, mit dem für diesen Rechner aktuellsten Betriebssystem, und die App läuft ohne Probleme
 
Ich würde die Festplatte checken, das Dateisystem mittels Festplatten Dienstprogramm und die Hardware mittels SmartTest, wie zum Beispiel DriveX.
Der Etrecheck Bericht zeigt beim Überfliegen, das selbst die Erstellung des Berichts überdurchschnittlich lang dauert.
 
Lieber Bernie, Festplattendienst habe ich auch schon gemacht. Der Versuch, den Code vollständig reinzubekommen, scheiterte erneut

Empfehle ich auch. Gut möglich dass die Festplatte langsam den Geist aufgibt.

Beides, also Dateisystem und dann auch den SmartTest?
Bezüglich Fotos.app, hast du hiermit etwas erledigt: Photos Duplicate Cleaner (2.4) nicht das das die Mediathek erledigt hat, wenn dann solltest du die eventuell reparieren, also beim Start von Fotos.app die Tasten ALT+ApfelTaste(cmd) gedrückt halten und dann die Reparatur starten.

Als erstes solltest Du jetzt am besten erst einmal unter einem anderen Benutzer Dich am Mac anmelden (Und bitte jetzt nicht schreiben, dass Du der einzige Benutzer bist.) und dann unter dessen Account nachsehen, ob das Problem mit Foto dort auch besteht. Dann hat man nämlich schon einen ersten Anhaltspunkt, wo man mit der Fehlersuche beginnen muss.
 
Da ist doch noch eine HDD drin, was die Catalina ja gar nicht gerne hat.
