Fusion Drive - wie Fehler erkennen (und beheben)

Hallo,

ich habe einen iMac Late 2014 mit 3 TB Fusion Drive.

Der Rechner wurde innerhalb kurzer Zeit immer langsamer. Ich dachte, das läge an der zu vollen Platte (2,95 von 3,1 TB belegt) und habe erst mal 1 TB ausgelagert. Leider wurde es trotzdem schlimmer - der rollende Apfel war das häufigste Symbol im Rechneralltag.

Als fast nichts mehr ging, habe ich dann mal das Festplattendienstprogramm im Wiederherstellungsmodus laufen lassen. Der fand einen Defekt, ich glaube gelesen u haben in der SSD, bin aber nicht sicher. Als ich auf Reparieren geklickt habe, wurde die komplette Festplatte formatiert und gelöscht.
Zum Glück gibt es Time Capsule - das hatte ich so nicht vorausgesehen.

Jetzt läuft der Rechner wieder, und das Dienstprogramm meldet keine Fehler, aber er ist
1. immer noch sehr langsam
2. ist die Festplatte durchgehend am drehen. Zumindest bei jeder Aktion ruckelt sie vor sich hin.

Jetzt meine Frage: Kann ich feststellen, ob die SSD evtl. als Defekt vom System aussortiert wurde und er deshalb jetzt so langsam ist?

Ist es für mich evtl. billiger und einfacher, eine externe SSD einzusetzen und dann das gesamte System nur noch über die externe Platte laufen zu lassen, und die FusionDrive komplett abzuschalten, so dass sie vom Rechner gar nicht mehr angesprochen wird?

Sonstige Lösungsvorschläge?

Gerade benimmt sich das System sehr indifferent - mal ist es fast normal schnell, dann plötzlich dauert allein das Anzeigen des Finders plötzlich > 30 sek

Die HDD koennte den Geist aufgeben, oder es koennten andere Prozesse auf deinem System dafuer sorgen, dass deine Festplatte fast immer ausgelastet wird. Ich denke, es waere sinnvoll mal einen EtreCheck laufen zu lassen, und den ausgegebenen Bericht hier einzustellen.

Moin,
das Problem der immer langsamer werdenden Mac kenne ich auch, allerdings habe ich die Systemplatte immer gegen eine SSD getauscht, von den Fusion-Drives halte ich eher weniger. Mein 2009er iMac hat eine 512er SSD verpasst bekommen (für das System reicht natürlich auch was Kleineres), Daten lagere ich auf externe HDDs aus. Der rennt „wie ein Neuer“...

Wie groß ist dein Hauptspeicher ? Mit neueren OSX kann das mit der Zeit knapp werden (dein Rechner ist ein Late 2014)...
Wenn also viel auf die HDD ausgelagert wird...

Klingt irgendwie nach Problemen mit der Festplatte. Wie sehen denn die SMART-Werte aus.

Eine Crucial MX500 2TB kostet ca. 235€. Bei solchen Preisen wäre mir das herumhantieren mit einem Fusiondrive einfach die Mühe nicht wert.

Wie kommst du auf diesen WISO Müll, sofort wieder Deistallieren !!, sowas hat auf einem Mac nichts verloren!.
 
Hm, komme mit WISO Steuer gut klar, wollte einmal einen Systemcheck machen lassen und dann eh wieder weg damit. Spricht da was gegen? Alternative für komplettcheck?

nur Etrecheck ist Sinnvoll, alles andere, bis auf Malwarebytes, ist unnötig.

Reine Neugierde meinerseits: wieso seid ihr euch so sicher dass es sich um Mining handelt? Wenn ich nach bitrun oder bitrun.app suche finde ich da nichts brauchbares.

Ich zweifel es nicht an, wollte nur wissen ob ihr sicher seid.
