Hallo in die Runde,

ich hoffe es ist fein als Neuling direkt eine Frage zu stellen. :)

Worum es geht: ich habe ein Mac Book Pro 2017er mit Catalina drauf.
Ohne Änderung von Einstellungen und/oder Hardware fährt mein Mac immer dann runter, wenn ich meine externe Festplatte anschließe.
Kabel und Adapter sind gewechselt bzw. quergecheckt.

Somit: der Fehler ist klar definiert, aber ich verstehe nicht warum.
Da die externe u.a. auch meine BackUps innehat: gibt es vielleicht irgendeine Idee / einen Trick wie bzw. was ich da checken / ändern kann.
Ich habe nach Anschluss der Festplatte ungefähr 5 Minuten Zeit, bis der Mac "aufgrund eines Problemes" neu gestartet wird.
Oder sollte ich besser einfach davon ausgehen, dass die Platte das zeitliche gesegnet hat?! :D

Da sollte ein Log der Panic zu finden sein.
Kam die Platte mit irgendeiner Software?
WDC hat so was zum Beispiel.

Zu den Rückfragen. Eine andere Festplatte funktioniert einwandfrei und es war keine Software o.ä. dabei. Sie lief ja auch vorher 2 Jahre problemlos.

Bloß wie reparierst du das ohne Panic?
 
DAS ist eine sehr gute Frage.... :D
Shit. Das bedeutet wohl adé Festplatte? Oder gibt es noch gute Ideen?
 
Probier es mal in der Wiederherstellung.
Oder man muss den Automount verhindern.
Überprüfen kann man auch ohne mounten.

Vielleicht unter Linux probieren.
