Huhu an alle,
da mein MacBook sehr langsam ist und ich mich nach unzähligen Recherchenstunden im Netz nur noch verwirrter fühle, würde ich mich sehr über eure Mithilfe freuen, mir den EtreCheck Report irgendwie begreiflich zu machen. Ich glotz wie ein Schwein ins Uhrwerk und muss jeden Fachbegriff nachschlagen.
Auf EtreCheck bin ich gestossen, nachdem mein Ex-Freund cleanmymac und unzählige andere Programme auf meinem Mac installiert hat, um ihn "schneller" zu machen. Was passierte war das Gegenteil. Die von ihm installierten Programme hab ich inzwischen deinstalliert.

Das kann man ganz schnell beantworten: Modernes Betriebssystem, aber uralte HDD-Technik und zu wenig RAM. Also: SSD rein, RAM aufrüsten.

Vielleicht geht die Platte auch langsam über den Jordan.

Der macht aber nicht diese Probleme. Grundsätzlich jedoch richtig. Das Ding ist obsolet. Wird ja auch eingestellt. Hier läuft schlicht der RAM voll, dann wird auf die grandios langsame HDD ausgelagert. So wird das System zu Schnecke. Unzeitgemäß.

also für um die 80€ kriegst du eine 500GB SSD und der einbau ist an sich nicht so ganz schwierig mit passenden schraubendreher…
 
Nur am Rande: Time Machine ist nicht aktiviert. Also, wenn nicht bereits auf anderem Wege getan, wäre es an der Zeit sich mal um die Sicherung der Daten auf dem Gerät zu kümmern. V.a. wenn wie oben schon angedeutet, vielleicht demnächst die Festplatte das zeitliche segnet. Es sei denn auf dem Mac befinden sich nur Daten, deren Verlust dich nicht schmerzen würde. Dann brauchst du auch keine Datensicherung.

Es geht doch nichts über gute Freunde die einem den Rechner versauen...

Aber darüber hinaus ist der RAM zu gering und eine SSD Platte sollte Schub geben.
