ELITE für Mac

Hi,

gibt/gab es eigentlich für den Mac auch ELITE oder eines der Nachfolgespiele (ups, die Namen sind mir entfallen )?

Wenn ja, wo kann man es bekommen, evtl. downloaden?

Frontiers, die Fortsetzung von Elite gab es nie für Mac.

Apple II Elite was converted by myself from BBC Elite and published in 1986 by Firebird.

I recommend David Ellsworth's ApplePC emulator. [1]
You may also be able to obtain an Apple IIe rom image from this site.
Here are brief instructions on how to load it.

• Ensure ApplePC files; Apple IIe system rom; and aplelite.dsk are in the same directory.
• Ensure Num_Lock and Caps_Lock are OFF.
• Type APPLE <RETURN>
• Type d [disks] 1 [disk #1] aplelite.dsk <RETURN> <ESC>
• Set sound according to taste
• <ESC> to resume emulation.
• <F10> <Q> quits to DOS when ready.

Also ich spielte Elite II (Frontier) auf einem Windowsrechner immer die Amigaversion über WinUAE. Auf dem Mac hab ich das noch nie ausprobiert, müsste aber auch gehen, oder? UAE gibt's ja auch für Mac OS X
