Moin Zusammen,

ich beobachte bei meinen iMac (27“/Ende 2012/16Gb/System auf externer SSD per USB 3 & 1 Tb interne HDD/Mojave 10.14.6) in den letzten zwei Wochen häufiger den Beachball.

Ich nutze den Rechner momentan hauptsächlich für den Onlineunterricht und die Videobearbeitung. Ich habe mal einen EtreCheck Report erstellt und würde mich freuen wenn sich den mal Leute angucken die diesen auch deuten können. Ich bin da raus.

Die ist halt lahm wie sonst kaum etwas. Eventuell geht sie auch in den Ruhemodus, und muss bei Zugriff erst wieder anlaufen. Sie wird ja, da kein System drauf ist, nicht dauerhaft angefordert.

Die Platte ist natürlich nicht neu und gemessen an der SSD ein lahmer Gaul. Die „Beachball-Thematik“ war jedoch die letzten sieben Monate (so lang habe ich den Rechner) nie ein Thema. Naja, vielleicht ist esja schlichtweg nur der Zahn der Zeit..

Schau mal dass du in den Systemeinstellungen bei Energie sparen den Ruhezustand der Festplatten deaktivierst. Vielleicht hilft das.
