SVCD auf OS X

Hallo zusammen,
ich habe einige Filme, die als SVCD vorliegen. Ich kann diese mounten mit dem Toast 6. Ich habe sonst den VLC Player, aber mit diesem kommt die Meldung:

Es sieht so aus, wie dass er keinen Lesezugriff hat. Kann das sein? Gibt es da etwas besseres, um dies anzuschauen?

mounte die SVCD nicht, gehe mit der Maus auf die Datei der SVCD, Kontexmenü/öffnen mit/eigene dann vcl auswählen, sollte vcl nicht auswählbar sein, von empfohlene Programme auf alle Programme wechseln.

..also als alternativen Player könnte ich spontan z.B. MacVCD nennen

oder ...

...eine ältere version von VLC-Player!

hatte ebenfalls jede menge schwierigkeiten mit den aktuellen VLC-Versionen ...hier findet ihr eine alte, die schluckt (s)VCD's ohnen knurren & murren

ctrl-click auf die cd, dann öffnen mit, und dann nimm das progi deiner wahl.

...wär jetzt mein vorschlag, weil der immer gut geht..
