Wireless Skype-Telefon am Mac?

Kennt jemand von euch das Linksys CIT200 Wireless Skype-Telefon.
Funktioniert das inzwischen auch am Mac?

Oder gibt es auch andere drahtlose Telefone, um zu skypen?

von netgear kommt bald eins im handyformat raus, siehe aktuelle c't.
 
Hm, also meiner Meinung nach sollte so ein Telefon weder mit Windows noch mit Mac funktionieren, sondern ein eigenes OS haben und eine direkte Verbindung mit dem Wireless Router herstellen können!! Per On Screen Menü gäbe man dann SSID und Netzwerkschlüssel ein, meldete sich einmal per Kennung und Passwort bei Skype an, die Kontaktliste würde von Skype importiert, fertig.
Und natürlich sollte sich so ein Telefon in jedes beliebige Wireless Netzwerk einwählen können.

Aber so, wie es jetzt ist, ist das doch Kindergarten. Leben wir im 21. Jahrhundert oder leben wir im 21. Jahrhundert?

spielt keine rolle, skype daten sind im "handy" abgelegt und das kommuniziert direkt mit dem wlan-router, wie jemand über mir schon gesagt hat.

Zumindest das Linksys braucht einen PC mit Windows 2000 oder XP, weil Software installiert werden muss. Laut diverser Beschreibungen soll es so sein.

Beim Netgear wird das also anders? Ist schon etwas über den Preis bekannt und/oder gibt es schon eine Website über das Gerät, auf der man sich informieren könnte?
 
Ich hab ein Bluetooth-Headset. Kann ich dann fürs Handy und fürn Mac benutzen. Das ist echt super.

ja, das Netgear Skype WiFi "Telefon" wird sicherlich ein interessantes Teil werden...

jedoch scheint -zumindest bis dato- nur eine max. Sicherheit durch "WEP" geplant zu sein, was das Teil wieder uninteressant werden lässt... schade eigentlich, sollte sich hier bis zum Releasetermin wirklich nichts mehr ändern.

oh mann, wie prall ist das denn???! typisch netgear.
 
Und was ist mit drahtlosen Netzwerken, in die man sich per VPN einloggen muss? Irgendwie finde ich keine Info darüber.
