Hi,

ich hab eine Problem mich mit dem Netzwerk meiner Uni
zu verbinden, hat vielleicht jemand einen tipp was ich machen könnte

Hast Du den zweimal installiert?

Ich studiere auch an der TUD und habe dort keine Probleme mit dem normalen Cisco-Client.
Probier mal den hier aus:

Ansonsten mal .plist vom VPN Client löschen und nochmal versuchen.
Wenn das nichts bringt, mal nach Cisco spotlighten und alles löschen, was nach VPN aussieht und nochmal neu installieren.

Bin ebenfalls an der TUD und habe auch keine Probleme mit dem Cisco VPN Client in der Version 4.9.00 (0050).
Ich würde ihn auch nochmal komplett (!) löschen und neu installieren.

@vegas-: Wie funktioniert Shimo? Was muss ich da einstellen? Hab es bis jetzt noch nicht geschafft, damit ins Netz zu kommen!

Habe auch gerade den Shimo ausprobiert.

Gehe ich nur über den Cisco rein, hält Adium bei mir alle Verbindungen (Proxy ist auf "Systemweite HTTP Einstellungen" eingestellt).
Starte ich den VPN über Shimo, fliege ich aus MSN und ICQ raus.... Ärgerlich!

hatte das gleiche problem. studiere in der uni saarbrücken.

als ich mich von zuhause einwählen wollte hab ich das gleiche problem gehabt.

von der uni ins wlan gings dann. hoffe finde die lösung nochmal.

meldet euch wenns klappt:

I work for a large university and they recently found a fix (I think they got it from Cisco). You need to close the Cisco VPN client, open up the Terminal in /Applications/Utilities and type in these commands:

cd /etc/CiscoSystemsVPNClient/Profiles
ls
pico <name of your profile here>.pcf

Once pico has opened up, scroll to the bottom (Control-V) and enter this line:
UseLegacyIKEPort=0

then use Control-O, and Control-X to save and exit the profile.

Gerade ist eine neue Version von Shimo veröffenlicht worden... funktioniert jetzt wie ne Eins.

Ich kann Shimo noch nicht einmal starten. Wenn ich auf das Programm-Icon klicke öffnet es sich nicht, keine Meldung. CiscoVPN ist ordentlich drauf und das uni-profil ist auch drin und funktioniert...

Shimo zeigt sich nur in der Menüleiste an und wird von dort bedient - siehe Screenshot. Im Dock sieht man von Shimo nichts....
