Vorschau zeigt nichts mehr an - wie reparieren?

Hallo Experten,

Seitdem ich Photoshop Elements auf meinem Powerbook installiert habe, zeigt das Programm Vorschau nichts mehr an.

Wenn ich auf eine Vorschau-Datei (zum Beispiel ein Bild) doppelt klicke, öffnet sich zwar das Programm, aber ausser der Vorschau-Menüleiste wird mir nichts angezeigt, also der Inhalt der Datei wird nicht wiedergegeben.

Frage 1: kennt jemand das Problem und kennt eine Lösung?

Frage2: wie kann ich gegebenenfalls Vorschau neu installieren, damit es wieder funktioniert?

Ach ja: PRAM habe ich schon zurückgesetzt und die Rechte habe ich auch schon repariert - hat leider nichts geholfen...

genau das gleiche problem hatte ich auch gehabt - für die, die es auch irgendwann ma haben sollten und nich den mac neu installieren möchten:

I'd find a file named com.apple.Preview.plist and drag it to the Desktop. You may have a corrupt preference file.

so once I drag that file to the desktop...what do I do next?

Do it while Preview is closed. The next time you open Preview, it'll have to create a new default version which will be corrupt free. This means that if your problem was a corrupt preference file (and it's showing all the right signs) then the corruption will be gone.

Of course, you'll lose all your customised preferences for Preview in the meantime. Thankfully there aren't that many. You can then delete the file on your Desktop if this works. If not, you can put the file back where you found it, replacing the new one, and retain all your old preferences.
