Tunnelblick - Fehler bei der Verbindung

Moin zusammen,
neuer Arbeitgeber und auch hier gibt es wieder die Möglichkeit eine VPN-Verbindung ins Firmennetzwerk aufzubauen.

OK, vom alten Arbeitgeber habe ich damals eine ZIP-Datei bekommen mit folgendem Inhalt:

- ca.crt
- meinKürzel.crt
- meinKürzel.key und
- vpn-meinKürzel.ovpn


Damals musste ich nur auf die ovpn-Datei klicken, welche sich mit den anderen Dateien in einem Ordner befand und das Ding lief.

Nun habe ich quasi die selben Dateien bekommen, entpackt und nach Installation der neusten Version von Tunnelblick (Tunnelblick 3.5.4) und nach dem Doppelklick auf die ovpn-Datei werde ich auch nach meinem Login und dem Passwort gefragt. Gebe ich ein und dann geht leider nichts mehr. Es erscheint oben in der Menüleiste beim Tunnelblick-Logo BLICKEND "TCP-Verbindung herstellen" und "Authentifizierung".

Nun ist unser IT-ler aktuell auch ratlos, da er sich weniger mit OST auskennt und zum anderen anscheinend bei anderen Kollegen (die leider nicht bei uns im Haus sitzen) das ohne Zucken geht.

Frage: Wie kann ich herausfinden, an was es nun genau liegt?

Hast du noch andere Geräte mit denen du deine Konfigurationsdaten testen kannst?
Hatte gerade auch Probleme meinen VPN-Server auf dem Mac als laufen zu bekommen, eine Deinstallation / Neuinstallation von Tunnelblick plus Neustart hat dann geholfen..
 
Welche Problem hast du genau? Und nein, leider steht aktuell nur diese eine Rechner zur Verfügung.
 
Du hast die Möglichkeit, wenn du die Tunnelblick Oberfläche öffnest, einerseits bei der Verbindung "Diagonoseinformationen" zu kopieren bzw. auch in "Dienstprogramme" das Konsolen-Protokoll einzusehen.
Alternativ auf das Zahnrad bei den Verbindungen und direkt da in die Logs schauen.

Schau da doch mal rein und poste ggf. anonymisiert die Zeilen bei denen es hängt. Eigentlich sollte man in einem der Logs auf jeden Fall sehen wo es stecken bleibt.

Du hast von der selben Verbindung (also Internetverbindung) aus schon mal eine Verbindung grundsätzlich zum VPN herstellen können?
Bitte verwende testweise mal Viscosity, um ein Problem mit Tunnelblick auszuschließen:https://www.sparklabs.com/viscosity/

Andere Kollegen können ja auf den selben VPN zugreifen. Gibt es die Möglichkeit die Serverlogs vom Serveradmin begutachten zu lassen? Mich würde interessieren ob die Verbindung überhaupt bis zum Server durchkommt und ob dieser die Verbindung abbricht oder schon etwas davon (zb. geschlossene Ports, eine IP-Whiteliste auf der du nicht drauf stehst, die Firewall, etc.).
 
Nein, ich habe noch nie eine Verbindung zustande bekommen....Und Daten vom Admin wird schwer... Um genauer zu sein "unmöglich" :(
 
Deine Verbindung wird aus irgendeinem Grund abgebrochen, welcher steht leider nicht in den Logs. Das kann jetzt dein Internetanbieter sein der Verbindungen über diesen Port blockt, oder eben irgendwas anderes. Versuch auf jeden Fall mal Viscosity, das ist dann immerhin eine Fehlerquelle weniger.
Kennt sich der Admin so wenig mit seinem Server aus, dass er seine eigenen Serverlogs nicht lesen kann? :D
 
Viscosity geht auch nicht.... Verbindet sich nicht! Leider ist der Admin aktuell nicht greifbar. Das ist das Problem....
OK, dass mein Internetanbieter das blockiert, wage ich eben zu bezweifeln... das ging von hier aus in die andere Firma auch schon....Zudem geht es auch von anderen Wohnungen nicht und auch nicht vom WLAN aus auf Arbeit....
 
Dann würde ich wirklich mal beim Serverlog ansetzen sobald der Admin wieder auftaucht. Wenn es schneller geht, versuch dir eine neue Config ausstellen zu lassen inkl. neuer Zertifikate (auch wenn ich da nicht viel Hoffnung habe).
