A sleek, silver bullet-like device designed by a 16-year old school girl adds Zune-like music sharing features to the iPod. The so-called NoeStringAttached will transmit the contents of an iPod library to anyone else with a compatible device in a 15-foot radius. See the embedded video for details of how it works, and an interview with the inventor.

Of course, an iPod FM transmitter would do a similar thing, broadcasting an iPod's output to a radio frequency, but the NoeStringAttached is unique in that it makes the iPod a receiver as well as a transmitter.

Although it is set for a proper production release later this year, the device is currently only available on eBay, where it's available as a Buy It Now item for $60.

geniale idee, sieht aber nich so pralle aus. was sich das mädchen wohl gedacht hat, war vlt ein bissi einsam und hatte keinen freund, deswegen die form
