Spotlight deaktivieren / Terminal Problem

Hi,
als ich jetzt mein Macbook seit einer Woche benutze wird es jeden Tag etwas träger, was ja normal ist wenn man eben damit herumspielt.
Als ich Spotlight ausschalten wollte um das System wieder zu beschleunigen hatte ich folgendes Problem mein Passwort ins Terminal einzugeben:
Für meinen Account bei der ersten Einrichtung habe ich nämlich KEIN Passwort hinterlegt.
Wenn ich also in der Konsole kein Passwort eingeben, sagt er "Sorry, try again", aber ich habe ja eben kein PW hinterlegt.

Habt ihr einen Tipp??

AUSZUG AUS DEM TERMINAL:

da hilft nur eins: ein passwort für deinen account angeben...
ohne passwort kein sudo...

Die User in der sudo-Liste gehen wohl auch ohne Passwort, die Option nopassword muss nur jemand händisch anlegen, gelle?

Analog zu "automatische Updates gehen nicht, wenn nicht als admin-user angemeldet"

@Sveenie, @Chris: this seems to work:

<user> localhost=(ALL) NOPASSWD: /usr/sbin/softwareupdate

One line per user, or alternatively specify with %<group> a group (which you’ll have to put in /etc/group, of course).
