PPPoE/DSL-Verbindung bricht ständig ab

Hi,


bei mir bricht in den letzten Tagen andauernd die
Verbindung des DSL ab.

Irgdnewelche Timeout-Einträge im /var/log/system.log
und auch irgendwelche apple.com-Notify-Einträge wegen
geänderter IP und so krudes Zeugs.

Hat irgend jemand ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht?

Anbindung mit einem S*mens-Modem und Service-Anbieter
ist der mit der Frau aus dem Wunderland...


...scheint aber am Mac zu liegen, den die Windows-Leute scheinen
keine Probleme zu haben.

Vielleicht mal das Programm "Netzwerk-Dienstprogramm" prüfen lassen.

Und: Ist das Einschalten von PPPoE eigentlich nötig?

angeblich ist PPoE nötig

Und es sollen angeblich auch TCP-echo-Pakete gesendet werden.

habe es mal ausgeschaltet und den Eindruck, es geht besser jetzt.

Vielleicht müllen die Echo-Pakete nur das Netz voll?

Wer weiß; werde das nochmal ausprobieren, was passiert, wenn ich den
Krams wieder anschalte.
