Konflikt: Apache <-> MacOSX 10.2.4 !!

Ich wurde gerade in einer Mailingliste auf ein kleines Problem hingewiesen, das durch den Update auf 10.2.4 entsteht

"Apple overwrites the Apache httpd.conf file in the 10.2.4 installer. There is a
backup, but if you've modified this file you'll need to apply your changes
again. After re-installing Lasso it seems to be working fine.

However, I would never advise installing a system update on a production server
on the first day it's released."

Ich würde allen raten, vor dem Update ein backup der httpd.conf anzulegen, besser ist das.

Ich kann dieses Verhalten des Updaters verifizieren, also sichert eure Konfigurationen!

Hi

Apple hat in der 10.2.4 mod_rendezvous eingebaut. Will man das nutzen, muss man das in seine gesicherte httpd.conf die Zeilen einbauen

im wesentlichen

LoadModule rendezvous_apple_modue...
Addmodule mod_rendezvous_apple.c

<IfModule mod_rendezvous_apple.c>

...


</IfModule>

in der neuen httpd.conf sin noch ein paar weitere Änderungen drin, aber nichts dramatisches, kann man drauf verzichten.
