Kalender in Entourage mit Palm synchronisieren

Ich versuche verzweifelt Entourage X mit meinem Visor zu synchronisieren. Mein Office ist bis 10.1.5 upgedatet und ich verwende das Entourage Conduit 10.1.4.
Im Conduit Manager habe ich versucht Tasks, Notizen, Adressen einzeln zu synchronisieren, was auch klappte, aber mit dem Kalender geht es einfach nicht. Der Conduit Manager wird jedesmal unerwartet beendet. Dabei wird manchmal ein grösserer, manchmal ein kleinerer Teil der Termine vom PDA auf den Kalender im Entourage übertragen, aber immer fehlt ein grosser Teil.
Wer kennt das Problem und weiss etwas?

Hi bin seit 2 wochen stolzer besitzer eines Powerbooks,

habe leider das problem dass mein Palm M500 alles abgleicht außer den terminen die habe ich mit dem programm outlook2mac dann auf den mac bekommen aber kmischerweise schafft es entourage nicht die dateien zu importieren stattdessen erscheint die nachricht "diese aktion konnte nicht ausgeführt werden Nachrichtenfehler" hat jemand ne ahnung was das heissen soll?

ansonsten bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem mac!

Entourage conduit stürzt ab

Ich habe das gleiche Problem mit dem Synchronisieren der Kalenderdateien. Der Fehler ist bekannt, alle Hinweise, wie man dem entkommen kann haben bei mir nicht geholfen, deshalb verwende ich doch den Palm Desktop. In den MS support foren wird empfohlen: 1.keine Sonderzeichen verwenden, 2.bei allen wiederkehrenden Ereignissen ein Enddatum einzugeben.

Wie gesagt: hat bei mir nichts gebracht, ich warte auf Office 2004, vermute aber dass der Fehler weiterhin vorhanden sein wird.

Ich habe das gleiche Problem mit dem Synchronisieren der Kalenderdateien unter OS 9.2.2 und entourage 2001. Sowohl der Palm als Microsoft Hotline sind ratlos und schieben sich gegenseitig den schwarzen Peter zu.

Wer kennt das Problem und weiss etwas?

QueueSync syns all data witouth the use of the Entourage conduit (in OS 9.2.2). The only thing is that the colors definied to the different categories are lost. That's a pity. I hope the japanese developer works on it...
just try a free test copy for 30 days and then you can decide if you like or not. As I already told, QueueSync just costs 9$. Great isn't it...

OK then in english. I tested it and it worked rather good. Even the colors of the categories remained the same. But the thing is, that only the mail is synchronised unless I open the conduit and click on the adress, datebook etc. item to synchronise them too. Do you know how to arange that the adresses, to dos, the datebook etc is synchronised usually? Another problem seems to be, that entourage has to be opened before synch.

After opening the conduit, you can make your choice what you like to synchronise. Then you simply click on "make default". That's it... Now Queuesync knows to handle the synchronisation next time.

About the colors of the categories on your palm: I've setup new categories in entourage like "meeting confirmed" (green) and "meeting not confirmed" (red). These new categories aren't colored in the monthly and yearly calendar? How did you do that?

I first didn't read the hompage of queuesync very well. So I didn't notice that there is a betaversion 2.0 for OS X available and tried first the 1.5 version wich I couldn't configure as you described it for longer than the next sync. The version 2.0 worked reliably for the 5 or 6 synchs since yesterday.
For the adresses, the mail, the datebook, the tasks and the notes you will get a separate conduit. In the conduitmanager you can configure each conduit for itself, wether you want the categories synched or not. But take care, if you click "sync caterogie" you will get probably several versions of a date in each categorie you classed it with. That hapened to me and it took a nice time to delete the not needed versions.

I'm working with OS 9.2.2 and it seems like the software handles the sync completely differnt in OSX.

What about my question of syncing the colors? Any idea?
