iMac fährt ohne erkennbaren Grund herunter

Hallo,

ich bin neu in diesem Forum und hoffe, ihr könnt mir helfen.

die Forensuche habe ich bemüht, aber nichts gefunden. Mein Anliegen habe ich bei Hardware gestellt, weil ich mir nicht sicher bin, ob es ein Hardwarefehler, oder ein Softwarefehler ist

Ich habe folgenden iMac:

iMac (27 Zoll, Ende 2012)
Prozessor 2,9 GHz Intel Core i5
Speicher 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Grafikkarte NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M 512 MB

Wenn ich die Energieeinstellungen des iMac auf den Standardeinstellungen lasse, dann fährt er nach einer gewissen Zeit herunter. Hier mal ein Log dazu:

Wenn ich in den Energieeinstellungen den Schieberegler für den Ruhezustand des iMac auf "Nie" stelle, fährt er nicht mehr von alleine herunter. Deshalb schließe ich einen Hardwarefehler aus. SMC habe ich schon resettet, ebenso PRAM.
Ohne Erfolg. Auch wenn ich alle über USB angeschlossenen Geräte abhänge, bleibt der Fehler.
Neu aufgesetzt habe ich das System noch nicht, da ich Software einsetzte, deren Konfiguration mich eine Menge Zeit und Nerven gekostet hat. Eventuell komme ich nicht drum herum, möchte aber gerne erst einmal Rat von Euch einholen.

Ich habe herausgefunden, warum der iMac ständig von alleine heruntergefahren ist. Es war ein aktiver USB-Hub. Nachdem ich alle USB-Geräte vom iMac getrennt habe, funktionierte der Ruhemodus wieder. Danach habe ich alle USB-Geräte an den iMac direkt angeschlossen; Ruhemodus funktioniert. Klemme ich den USB-Hub wieder dazwischen, fährt der iMac ohne erkennbaren Grund wieder von alleine herunter. Ich habe jetzt einen passiven Hub im Einsatz. Damit funktioniert es auch.

Danke, dass du deine Erkenntnisse gepostet hast. Vielleicht hilft es ja mal in Zukunft Jemandem, der ähnliche Probleme, wie du hat!

Hallo,

da gabs mal in der ct einen Artikel über USB-Hubs die die 5 Volt auch rückwärts abgeben, da ist der Rechner schnell tod. Das sollte unbedingt getestet werden vor dem Einsatz.
