hugs über darwinports installieren ....

ok folgendes problem:
ich hätte gern den haskell interpreter hugs installiert, welchen es für osx nur über darwinports zu geben scheint. also habe ich darwin ports installiert...

der installer gibt den hinweis:

This package will install a complete DarwinPorts 1.0 release into the
/opt/local directory on your boot volume. To get full value from DarwinPorts and any software you install using it, you should change your shell startup file to add the following values to these variables:

PATH /opt/local/bin
MANPATH /opt/local/share/man
INFOPATH /opt/local/share/info

schön und gut. fragt sich nur wo mein shell startup file ist

naja macht ja nix... anders versucht:

das fand ich jedoch völlig unklar...

wäre für einen kleinen tip wies weiter gehn würde dankbar!

Das startup file ist
~/.profile
Es nutzt nichts, wenn Du nur in das Verzeichnis wechselst, in dem das binary ist und dann doch nur
port install blablubb
eingibst. Du mußt schon den ganzen Pfad angeben:
/opt/local/bin/port install blablubb

Wenn Du schon in dem Verzeichnis bist kannst Du auch
./port install blablubb
aufrufen.
