Braucht auch niemand bestätigen. Wenn Apple dieses Jahr noch ein paar mehr neue iBooks/Macbooks unters Volk bringen möchte müssen die spätestens bis Ende April da sein.
Und Dienstag ist der traditionelle Tag für Hardware-Updates bei Apple. Abwarten. Und wehe, ihr denkt wieder nicht an die Zeitverschiebung, morgen :motz

Store down ist immer so um 14 Uhr rum trotz Zeitverschiebung

I really thought that they would have waited to announce a Universal Binary version of Final Cut Studio at this professional broadcaster's industry event. Needless to say, I was very surprised to see Apple release FCS in UB last week:

My point is that SJ and other Apple exec's have indicated over the past few years that they will announce products/services as soon as they're ready to go, and not necessarily wait for a special or "Expo" type event which may be a couple of weeks or even a month or two away.

Here is my preferred April '06 Apple announcement schedule though:

Week of 03/03 - 03/07 [PRESS RELEASE]:
Intel MacBooks introduced via press release and simultaneous special media event invitation for the following week of 03/10 - 03/14.

Week of 03/10 - 03/14 [SPECIAL MEDIA EVENT]:
Special media event held to celebrate Apple's 30th and discuss it's past, present and future which will lead into the introduction of the vPod, iMovie Video Store [iMVS], and a "Home user features" demo of the Mac complimenting MacPod/MacPad/Mac Mobile [ultra thin, light-weight, low power clipboard-sized pda/tablet hybrid] using the ULV Core Solo processor that we now know will be announced on April 16th:

Week of 03/22 - 03/27 [NAB 2006]:

Weiß ich. Ändert nichts an meiner Aussage.

Wenn tatsächlich nicht mehr im April die iBooks kommen, kann das nur einen äußerst gravierenden Grund haben. Zum Beispiel, dass die ein Hardware-Problem haben, von dem Apple weiß, dass es zu massenhaften Reklamationen kommen würde. Und bei den Unmengen iBooks, die an Schulen verkauft werden, wäre das eine Katastrophe. Sowohl vom Image her, als auch verdammt teuer, da die Gewinnmargen beim iBook kleiner sind und deren Absatz höher, als beim MBP können die da nicht einfach 2—3 mal das Gerät tauschen, bis man ein Fehlerfreies erwischt.

Also der selbe Grund aus dem es meiner Meinung nach noch keine drahtlose MightyMouse gibt.
