Dear karsten,
here find some links a guy from NY (Joey friend and engineer)
What I need to know is what HD is good for me..
I want it fast and big, no SCSI I have it already.
I would maybe need a SATA HD and use them in a RAID
but sure I need it big..
I'll have anyway 8 gig ram and *the power I need is to run
a software sampler (Emagic EXS24) and to store all my samples.
Right now I have around 100 GIG of samples but in the next
future I could also have more than 300 GIG...
I already have 1 HD mounted in (160 GIG) that I don't want
to change and I have the space for just another one, *but there
is also an option to use some internal space of the G5 chassis.
please if you like take a look,
Thanks,
Alex.

Great drives, just too small a capacity yet at 74 GB. *VSL Pro is 240 GB alone.

Segate Ultra 320 SCSI

Best performance in a larger capacity SATA (200GB) *Buy 2 and set them up in a RAID

Mein derzeitiger Favorit:
Seagate Barracuda (400 GB). Siehe hier .

Gruß,
ESMA
