Font Smoothing

Hi!


Can anybody tell me, how to change font smoothing on 17" iMac? Whatever I change in the font preferences, it always stays pretty much the same effect on fonts.
I like to work sometimes in 1152x720 and with font smoothing it looks very ugly and it is also unuseful.

hello,
go to versiontracker and search for the tool "Tinker Tool".
With this preference Panes you can setup the font smothing as you want.
