EXIF Daten futsch nach Mailversand

Ist es normal, dass die EXIF Daten von Fotos gelöscht werden, wenn man sie per Mail versendet?

In iPhoto, sorry hatte ich vergessen zu erwähnen.

...iPhoto geht beim exportieren, allgemein rech schlampig mit den Metadaten um.

..ich hab das grade mal getestet .... sowohl beim exportieren, als auch beim direkten mail-versand ais iPhoto ...... bleiben ein teil der EXIF bei mir erhalten (ISO, Blende, Verschluss, Blitz) ...... alles andere ist weg.

Eben, gerade Datum und Uhrzeit ist mir wichtig. Also liegt es an iPhoto und nicht an Mail.
Also sollte man die Übergabe an Mail nicht benutzen, sondern lieber die Fotos manuell aus iPhoto ins Mailfenster schieben?

Wahrscheinlich hast du die Option übersehen, dass beim Mailverschicken die Bilder verkleinert (also auch komprimiert) werden. Dabei geht EXIF hops. Kann man aber deaktivieren.

Ich versende die Fotos immer in Originalgröße, wird da trotzdem komprimiert? ich finde nirgends eine Einstellmöglichkeit

When receiving images from a student with a brand new iMac, I noticed none of her images contained the EXIF info and we could not figure out why.

Last month, I installed iPhoto '09.

I realized today that iPhoto '09 is stripping all of the shooting info when you select the images in iPhoto and then click the "Mail" button. I did figure out 2 workarounds:

1. If you make your iPhoto and Mail windows fit on the screen at the same time and simply drag the images into a "New Message" window, the shooting info is retained.

2. If you open the Photo Browser window from within the "New Message" window, select your images and drag them into the body of the message, the shooting info is retained. You may need to use the dropdown "Size" button at the bottom right if the images exceed the max file size.

...das ist aber nicht grundsätzlich so, das bei verkleinerung/komprimierung daten aus dem header der dateien verloren gehen. Das ist eindeutig ein bug von iPhoto.
