[Drobo + DroboShare] Verbindungsprobleme im Netzwerk

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe mir ein Drobo (4 Bay) und dazu noch DroboShare zugelegt. Ich habe alles ordnungsgemäß angeschlossen Drobo mit DroboShare verbunden und diesen in ein Switch der mit einem Airport Extreme verbunden ist. Nachdem ich nun das drobo dashboard gestartet habe meldet dieses immer nur "Bereit für Verbindung".

Wie kann ich den nun den Drobo auf meinem Rechner "anmelden". Drobo läuft alle Leuchten sind auf Grün auch beim Droboshare. Ich habe den drobo auch ohne Droboshare mal eingesteckt. Der Rechner findet den drobo sofort.

Hat jemand eine Ahnung wie ich diesen im Netzwerk einbinden / connecten kann?

Hast du DHCP in der Extreme aktiv?

Bzw sagt der Drobo Support:

The default IP address for DroboShare is:

169.254.213.234, subnet mask 255.255.255.0

Zusatzinfo:

Out of the box, DroboShare is pre-configured for DHCP. However, if after over 60 seconds of use, DroboShare still doesn't seem to work, there is a strong chance that DroboShare is continuing to advertise its own default IP address of 169.254.213.234.

First, shut down and restart DroboShare:

Completely exit the Drobo Dashboard--don't just close the application window.
Unplug DroboShare's power cord.
Wait about 20 seconds.
Reconnect DroboShare's power cord.
Restart Drobo Dashboard.
This should do the trick. But if this doesn't get you up and running, then you must temporarily change your computer's IP address to one very close to that of DroboShare (i.e. 169.254.213.XXX), using a subnet of 255.255.255.0.

Remember, this is just temporary.

Please completely exit/close Drobo Dashboard before performing these steps.

For Windows users:

Right-click on "My Network Connections."
Click on Properties.
Right-click on the LAN in question.
Open Properties.
Apply these IP and subnet changes in the "Internet Protocol"
(i.e. TCP/IP), within the small window entitled "This connection uses the following items:"
For Mac users:

Go to Applications -> System Preferences -> Network -> Configure IPV4 Manually. Then enter the IP and subnet changes.

Once these changes are applied, shut down and restart DroboShare (steps are listed above). Then restart Drobo Dashboard.

Now your Drobo Dashboard should be able to "see" your Drobo and allow you to make your own network-related adjustments (e.g. IP, subnet, etc.) using the DroboShare Setup feature (Advanced Controls -> Tools).

Finally, to ensure that you're current with respect to all firmware and software levels, click "Check for Updates" while in the "Tools" section of Drobo Dashboard.

vielen Dank für deine Antwort ich habe alle Beschreibungen schon durchgemacht leider ohne Ergebnis.
Zum Glück hatte ich ein Informatiker gerade zur Hand. Leider hatte der DroboShare die DHCP manuell
vergeben - verschickt Cyberport gebrauchte Geräte??? - jetzt mit der automatischen DHCP Zuweisung
funktioniert das auch ganz gut. Ohne über Umwege auf den Share zu zugreifen hätte man das nicht umstellen
können.
