Ist in den Systemeinstellungen-Energiedingsbums- "Bei administrativen Netzwerkzugriffen aufwachen"....oder so ähnlich

Das gilt auch für WLAN-Zugriffe? Den Punkt in den Systemeinstellungen kenne ich schon, aber ich weiß nicht, ob das wirklich per WLAN geht. (Ohne Bastellösung mittels Bridge...)

die XBOX kann eyetv files abspielen, obs das andere Gerät auch kann weiß ich nicht.

Verwende die XBOX schon seit 3 Jahren als Medienstreamer und sie ist perfekt. Aja, bei MM oder Saturn gibts noch die alten XBOX fernbienung (war früher zu dvd-schaun erforderlich) damit lässt sich XBMC gut steuern.

bei xbmc lässt sich der lüfter entweder nach temperatur oder drehzahl regeln, damit wird die xbox sehr leise, wenn man noch einen anderen größeren lüfter einbaut praktisch unhörbar

Die Kiste bringt zwar ihre eigene, herstellerspezifische Serversoftware mit (für Windows und für MacOS) - ich habe sie aber nach kurzer Zeit durch Elgato EyeConnect ersetzt, um EyeTV Aufnahmen ohne Konverter direkt auf dem TV ausgeben zu können.

Preis: Ich habe meinen SZ1350 im Februar 2006 bei Gravis gekauft für €350.

würde auch zur xbox raten, da kommt keine streaming-kiste mit, streamt selbst filme die in .rar archiven oder images ruhen... gut, den lüfter hört man wohl ein wenigm wenn aber der film läuft sollte nichts zu hören sein. nenne eine xbox crystal mein eigen, sonderauflage in transparent, macht sich bei mir im wohnzimmer ganz gut, für das schlafzimmer kommt wohl noch eine normale dazu. für den xbox-umbau ist kein chip notwendig, das geht auch durch den sogenannten softmod... man hat dadurch vielleicht kosten in höhe von 10euro... gebrauchte xbox bekommt man auch schon günstig...

klar, kein problem ;-) egal was für 'ne xbox, geht mit allen (xbox1, nicht 360...) auch wenn man sich nun noch eine neu kaufen würde, microsoft bekommt die lücke mit der man unsignierten code einschleusen kann nicht geschlossen. ist ein exploit der in 3 verschiedenen original spielen gefunden worden ist... die man allerdigs dann dafür benötigt (videothek z.b.) die box muss dabei nichtmal aufgemacht werden... sprich: kein garantieverlust... (es sei denn du willst 'ne 500gb festplatte einbauen...)

Da ich im Wohnzimmer mit einem MacMini und der Elgato EyeTV 610 digitales Kabel empfangen und aufnehmen kann, würde ich gerne alle Filme, Serien etc. dann auch im Schlafzimmer empfangen können. Ggf. auch DVD sowie DivX bzw. Daten, die der VLC abspielen kann.

Am besten natürlich komfortabel steuerbar. Also nicht hin und her rennen müssen...

Was könnt Ihr da empfehlen, und was passt zu meinem Equipment?

P.S.: Wäre ein "altes" EyeHome die Lösung, oder gibt es besseres?

Ich würde zu einer guten alten DBox2 mit Neutrino raten, die ist zur Zeit zwar wieder recht teuer >= 100 Euro (das wird sich aber vielleicht bald geben, wenn Premiere bzw. Nagra ihr Verschlüsselungsproblem gelößt haben).

Diese kann eigentlich alles von dir geforderte (über VLC streamen) oder mpg2 per nfs/ftpfs/cifs share direkt und du könntest sogar weitere digitale Kabelaufnahmen machen.

kommt auf den lüfter an der verbaut wurde, ausserdem wie gesagt kann man ihn runter reglen... bis auf 10%... oder eben die automatische regelung aktivieren dann läuft er auch mal auf 2%. und wenn einem das dann doch noch nerven sollte kann man einen leisen lüfter verbauen. wenn ich 'nen film in normaler lautstärke sehe höre ich da nichts von, klar, wenns total ruhig ist höre ich die box... aber eine günstige alternative die mehr kann als alle streaming boxen...
