*.cdr von Corel Draw 3 konvertieren

Moin Moin,

ich habe gerade eine alte Corel Draw 3 CD voll mit cliparts in meinem Regal gefunden. Leider kann ich die *.cdr- Dateien nicht im Illu 10 oder Freehand MX importieren.

Kennt Ihr irgendein Tool, welches alte *.cdr- Dateien in ein lesbares Format konvertiert? Es sollten natürlich Vektoren bleiben.

laut http://www.lemkesoft.com/en/gcabout_formats.htm öffnet der GraphicConverter keine CorelDraw Dateien (*.cdr)

Adobe Illustrator öffnet *.cdr Dateien nur von CorelDraw Version 5 bis CorelDraw Version 10

Vielleicht hast du noch eine ältere Version von CorelDraw 5 oder 8 rumliegen oder vielleicht findest du eine solche preiswert bei Ebay?

CorelDRAW 3 and 4 can be edited in CorelDRAW 10 if there are no WFO fonts in
the image."

ein Usenet Posting aus alt.soft-sys.corel.draw meint dazu:

most software is not 100% backwards compatible in its file formats
because to do so would mean that thousands and thousands of lines of legacy
code would have to be in the application which would cause extreme code
bloat for the application and create an incredibly unstable application. I
believe Corel stopped backwards compatibility for v3 in v5.

You *might* be able to load v3 files in v10, but don't bet on it. Corel will
allow you to have multiple versions of its software on your computer at one
time. (I've got v7, 9, and 10 on mine right now)

Yes, you can import Draw 3 files into Draw 8 and, in the _vast_ majority
of cases, everything is preserved. I wouldn't like to guarantee it
though because the file formats _are_ different.

danke für die Antworten. Habe hier noch ne alte Version von Corel rumfliegen -> jetzt brauch ich nur noch ne dose zum installieren. Die habe ich leider nicht mehr...
